I was thinking of a dwarven warrior who for some reason (to be revealed in the roleplay) left his homeland behind and found service with a human king, as some sort of bodyguard. Probably one of the less serious characters in the RP (makes a lot of jokes that often aren't appropriate for the situation), but there will still be some serious moments.

If that won't work, I do have a human character in mind as well, so it's not a dealbreaker if I can't do it.

Also I have some questions about the pirate route. How big is his fleet, and how much freedom does the RPer have in coming up with the backstory?
