Name: Izo Saitou

Gender: Male
Appearance: Izo stands at about 6' with brown, short but unkempt hair and piercing brown eyes.He is relatively lean and his skin is relatively pale,his usual clothing is a set of plain white robes along with several simple iron rings on his index,middle and ring fingers. Izo always stands straight and rarely slouches,  he also usually wears a rather neutral expression on his face but it does shift fairly often despite his attempts to not smile,laugh or cringe.

Personality:  Izo Saitou is a man who lives by two principles: determination and skepticism. His iron-will is one of his greatest assets but potentially one of his greatest flaws, once Izo has made his mind up it is very difficult to change it;presenting hard evidence is the only way to potentially sway him but even then he may reject it as a fabrication. On the other hand, Izo is highly skeptical and will relentlessly criticize anything he is unsure of to the point of straight up insults if he is not satisfied with the answers. Once his skepticism are satisfied however he will generally stick to his conclusions.

Izo generally has a cold demeanor stating what he believes as fact and vaguely dismissing what he disagrees with, after being confronted however Izo rapidly becomes more aggressive and almost frantic regardless of whether he has the upper hand in the argument or not.

Backstory: Izo Saitou was born into an poor family with no siblings, he spent most of his time as a  child searching for small jobs to earn whatever pittance he was paid to help pay the bills. After years of this he was presented with an escape from this life by a fringe religious organisation he encountered during one of his odd jobs, a simple preacher on a street corner that had captivated him. He had joined the religion and joyfully worked as one of their priests for some time,his family provided for thanks to members of the faith. He spent his new found time learning everything he could about the religion's customs and religions and rapidly became a very vocal and even influential member of the group, helping the faith grow exponentially in some areas with his passionate speeches and public events (whether that be helping the public or showing the groups own capabilities through their discipline). 

After some time Izo was scouted as a potential candidate for Hope's Peak Academy, at first he was reluctant and sneered at the idea of abandoning his responsibilities in the organisation, to his surprise however several key members of the faith urged him to join the Academy and explained to him the various benefits he himself would receive and the potential attention his success could bring to the faith. After some time and much urging he accepted. 

Naturally after joining Hope's Peak he awoke to find a small bear laughing manically and explaining the killing game and it's rules.
