And taking in Neema's words, Nora looked around her, trying to spot any detail that seemed amiss. They had met up with Josephine and the others prior to the cat beginning to hiss. It only started to hiss once Lady Munn's question had been directly answered by Josephine. If Neema was to be believed, was this somehow a warning from Bast? Or an answer to Lady Munn's question?

	As Lauren left the room, Nora crouched down and looked underneath the desk at the cat. She figured Lauren had gone to retrieve a means of luring it out. And then, in order to test a theory, Nora removed the glove from her hand, allowing the brand to be seen clearly. She held her hand out to the cat.
