[@Not Fishing] I love your character. Only story-wise things don't completely add up, (but that's probably my own fault for not having been concise in the Eodaland description.)
Badastan had only become a king a year ago. However his Squirrel cult had been going on for much longer than that, so you don't have to edit much. Due to him being the then-brother of the King, there was no way people were able to outright challenge him without bringing it to his brother Aethelbehrt first. So rather than referring to him as 'King Badastan', just make it regular Badastan.

Edit that and Leofric is certainly approved.
