The link above is a timeline of a Walking Dead type necrovirus.  The spread does not even become apparent to the public until Day -5 (5 days before the start of the RP).  Conspiracy nuts noticed something amiss Day -9.  After Day -4 thing start to get pretty crazy.  At the start of the RP there are 20 million zombies in the US, approaching 10% of the population.

This is what the group can expect as time marches on.  I have yet to decide where the RP will commence.  I am leaning toward NW GA.
