Penelope waited for him to give her his hand. As he raised his other hand to her cheek instead, she leaned in to meet him as he kissed her. She closed her eyes and kissed him, glad to focus on something besides what had just happened. She smiled faintly at his words and leaned lightly into his touch. Her smile faded as he tried to assure her that her actions were in the right. The knight averted her gaze. “I know I had to do it... but..it still feels wrong.” She mumbled. She looked back at him as he brought up being a handicap to her in battle. She reached out to place her hand on top of his. “But don’t go thinking you were useless.. I couldn’t beat him in a fight alone. If you hadn’t grabbed the dagger away from him in the first place or distracted him long enough for me to strike, I’d be dead.” Penelope said shaking her head. She frowned at his words and hesitated as he admitted to wanting to learn how to fight. Penelope gave him an uncertain look. “I don’t mind teaching you if you want but... it’s not going to stop your aversion to blood.” She pointed out. “You’ll still have that holding you back and in a fight with weapons, there’s usually bound to be cuts of some sort. Be it on you or your enemy.” The knight paused, an idea coming to mind as she looked out of the alley way and towards the main street. It made her recall the mercenary’s first attack that drove them into the alley in the first place. Penelope looked back to Crow with a small spark in her green gaze. “Have you ever used a bow and arrow before?” She asked curiously. “I’m not too good with it myself but I could teach you the basics. But I’m thinking that might be the perfect weapon for you. You can keep a distance from your enemy so the issue of seeing blood won’t be nearly as bad if we worked on fighting with a dagger or sword."
