Jackie shot up as Captain Ballcrusher issued her the command of following and helping Barber Boy, even without his approval, which he gave shortly after. She mock saluted, [color=8E0331]"Your wish, my desire."[/color] She turned and followed Barber Boy out as he spoke. His lips moved, but honestly, she tuned him out. It was as if everytime he spoke, a pocket watch was being dangled in front of her, sweeping back and forth, urging her to sleep and close her eyes. The way his mouth moved made her want to...do things. Bad things. Fun things. But things. Conflicted in her desire to shut him up for once in his [i]gorram[/i] life, but also to keep listening wracked her brain.

Finally, she tuned in, just in time to hear him finish his speech about how to tune up a room and leave something on a pillow. Did she get a little something on her pillow? She didn't recall. [color=8E0331]"So not only do you cut hair, but you are also the maid? Do you do the laundry too?"[/color] Confused about just what this man did on the ship, she shrugged and followed, regardless. She did offer to help and Captain Ballcrusher saw fit to have her accompany him (if for nothing else, than to be sure Barber Boy didn't do anything else).

Mei stood in attention as the others got up to go to their respective duties and Mei followed after the Captain. She was anxious to get started and wondered if the Captain had her own thoughts on the matter. After all, she joined the ship in the strangest of circumstances, but Mei was always a person of honor. Hopefully, the Captain could see that, but she would not blame the woman for not trusting her and putting her through a test.

Once inside, Mei closed the door behind her and proceeded to walk over to where the Captain sat. She did not sit down, however. She felt it would be disrespectful to sit like they were bunkmates and not Captain and crew. [color=D8899B]"You wished to speak, Captain?"[/color] Mei had her own thoughts and questions, but she would let the Captain speak first. Given all that has happened, it seemed only right the Captain get her own thoughts out of the way first.
