Archer (Odysseus)

Southern Moor
[@Yukitumas][@ReallyDumb][@BlueHelix] Archer had a look of serenity about her, unexpectedly the beginning of the war had been rather peaceful. This however. This was more like what she was expecting. A worthy challenge don't you think? She had already had more time to kick back than she had expected. It seemed the journey would begin with this. And I would never forgive you if it were to end with this. Archer chuckled gently to herself, or to her opponent somewhere out here. Recognising them as her enemy. Don't be saying things like that now, it's almost like you are asking for the worst to happen. She looked towards her ally, Berserker. He was both powerful and reliable, large and imposing, some tactical mind but not all up there in the head. It was a rather nostalgic feeling to be going to battle with Berserker, it reminded him of a certain man he fought alongside back in Troy. Although that mans end was not a memory particularly fond for her, she had felt some sense of responsibility for it. But it was not her doing. It was the will of the gods. She could only hope that his soul has forgiven itself after all of these years. Shame had not fit that man. That mans end was his own doing, think nothing of it. A strange noise coming from one of Berserker's skeletons brought her head out of the clouds. She bit her lip and scorned herself a little. She knew better than this. They were now entering enemy territory, she had to be focused now. Their forces may have consisted of skeletons, but she would treat every single one of them as she would have an Achean soldier. She had been given the responsibility of a commander, something that she was not a stranger to. She put all of her effort into analysing the land in front of her, seemingly tearing through the place with her senses and rebuilding it several times in her mind. She was no fool. You know what lies ahead right? Of course she did. Just by being here this level of reasoning was possible for Odysseus. For the first time in the war a bow materialised in the woman known as Archers hands. With a bold look on her face drew the sturdy and powerful looking bow, an arrow materialising itself as she did so. There was nothing special about the arrow other than it appearing out of nowhere. It was a standard arrow. Nothing special. "Our enemy has set numerous traps within their territory. We shall deal with them as swiftly and efficiently as possible. Listen to me and things shall go smoothly for us. As she finished talking the shot was fired instantly. Off into the land in-front of them. To Berserker and his army it was a wild shot, going nowhere with hopes of hitting something. But it was a shot with deadly accuracy, one that knew its target and would pierce through it with absolute certainty. As she drew her bow once more the group would be able to hear the sounds of a large log being swung in front of them. Archer had triggered their enemies traps before they had reached there. "I will continue to neutralise as many of these as possible. However I am afraid that this will not be enough... Our enemy seems to be an expert at these. It did not take even a moment for Archers head to be filled with plans to deal with these traps. She would work to minimise the casualties. Sacrifice the least amount of people needed and avoid them altogether when possible. If she had to give up a single skeleton she would. But these skeletons were not so helpless themselves. They could join together to defeat the tasks ahead of them. Forming bridges to allow the army to pass by safely. Tampering with the traps could not be ruled out either. If a boulder is to be thrown at them it is best to get rid of the boulder. Archer of course would work to destroy as many as possible herself. She would then not have to worry about Berserker being caught in one. Although that would do very little to a servant of his calibre. But of course she would attempt to keep Berserker unharmed, preparing him to engage with the enemy once they show themselves. No. As they show themselves. Until then she would operate nearby him and provide him with the suggestions that she believed were the most appropriate. The army of skeletons will surely clear the way to victory.
