[b]So here's the setting:[/b]
- [color=39b54a]A colony ship[/color], carrying 10'000 passengers plus 2000 members of the crew, departed from earth 1 month ago, with another 5 months to go until arrival at Gaia, the second human colony after mars.
- We are colonists on that ship. Think spaceship titanic, or the movie passengers if everyone was awake. Think the size of the citadel from Mass Effect, if it was a moving ship. There are many amenities, it's more like a cruise ship. A Dining hall, pools, space observatories, a sports arena, work out place, a biodome... 
- There are living quarters for all classes: big and luxurious if you are rich, medium and amenable like a good hotel room if you are middle class, tiny and cramped if you are poor

- At first, it's [color=6ecff6]slice of life.[/color] Mingle, make new friends, or already have friends. Talk to ppl in the ooc and decide if you want to already know someone.
- [color=ed1c24]THEN, a murder happens[/color] (it will happen a while into the story. It might be someone you know).
- Someone in the ship is a murderer. There are 12'000 possible perpetrators, and the clock is ticking. Will we find out who it was before we arrive? The Gaian government will not be happy to hear that a manslayer is departing unscathed from the newly arrived colony ship...

- I, as GM, will regularly introduce new characters. Any of them might, or might not be the murderer. It might be the first person I introduce. I might introduce them super late in the game. I might not introduce them at all. It might be one of you.
- [color=f26522]If you are interested in playing the murderer, contact me directly in pm, and I will walk you through how to play the character so the others dont get spoiled^^[/color]
- You can play as whatever you want. A doctor, a lawyer, an engineer, a crew member, a rich kid, a poor person who barely made it onto the ship... People off limits are: People not on the ship, The captain of the ship or super high ranking brass (middle brass is ok), or the murderer unless I gave the go ahead in PM.
- The murder mystery will be a big part of the story, the other big part will be exploring character, human society and the human psyche. Who are you? who are the people around you? This is a closed setting with a somewhat limited amount of people, so every interaction will ripple out and possible affect future relationships and the outcome of the murder mystery.
- [color=ed1c24][b]There is a risk your character gets killed in this story.[/b][/color] The murderer won't stop at one person. There will be more people that get killed. You might be one of them. Did you get too close to solving the riddle? Or was it just a whim of the killer? Again, only apply if you are willing to risk the death of your character. 
- [color=7bcdc8][b]You as a player are of course allowed to continue playing with a different character.[/b][/color] Will your relative or close friend take over the investigation for you? Or will they be scared and try to avoid everything as much as possible? Will a new random stranger appear? You can introduce NPCs/friendly/unfriendly side characters at any point in the story, that might take over the lead if your main character get killed.
- This story is 18+. Gore and sexual content is allowed, but not actively encouraged. If you wanna go down that road, do. If not, don't. This is about the human condition, and sex and violence are as much a part of that as anything else, so no restrictions.[/hider]

- Think our technology now, slightly advanced. NO teleporters, matter converters or other super advanced thing that would introduce a whole new level of difficulty to the murder mystery. 
- Allowed are: Laser weaponry, bionic enhancements like bionic limbs (Brain chips for mental enhancement excluded) (To be expanded). 
- Earth is largely the same, china is equal to US now, global warming has progressed but humanity makes due with new technologies and while it's bad, it could be worse. Both the doomsday sayers and the deniers were wrong, the situation is just kinda meh, as always.[/hider]
