I'm glad you were unharmed.", Jakyn explained, rising from his crouched position as a group began to surround the slain insect. "Rather large, but nothing unusual. My tribe used to kill them for their meat. Just... avoid cutting the head.", the wood elf concluded, spinning around to see the half-orc he spotted before losing his mind at the sight of the mutilated bug. Jakyn let out a bit of a sigh, his biased assumption seemed sadly correct; the orc was dumb, and untrustworthy. Putting on a fake, chummy grin, the wood elf patted the orc's back as he began to move back towards the beaten path. "Come on, friend. It'll all become real if you take a walk and just don't think about it.", Jakyn said, hoping to console the brute and lure him away from the source of his distress. "Besides, the voice awaits." ✦ ✦ ✦ Jakyn kept his torch bright and well-burning as he walked towards the distant tower. He had seen a very large, armored figure farther up along the trail than himself, and had called out to it to come and join up with the other 'voice-seeking' companions. While the wood elf waited to see if the figure came towards them, he chatted with the two comrades he knew walked beside him; the half-elf woman, and the large half-orc. "It is pleasing to meet you both. You may have heard back there, but my name is Jakyn Thrynor. I come because of the voice's command; I assume you two do the same?"
