Pale, unblemished skin on a light, petite frame. Long black hair that falls to the middle of her back and blue eyes. She dresses in the typical colors of her house - purples and silvers - and usually her attire reflects her rank. Fine dresses and a warm cloak that rests on her shoulders. Usually wears an emblem with her house crest - a silver pin with a Sun eclipsed slightly by a moon. A signet ring with a similar crest rests on her pointer finger. Position of Privilege: Thanks to your noble birth, people are inclined to think the best of you. You are welcome in high society, and people assume you have the right to be wherever you are. The common folk and merchants make every effort to accommodate you and avoid your displeasure, and other people of high birth treat you as a member of the same social sphere. You can secure an audience with a local noble if you need to. Abilities None Inventory: A bottle of black ink, a quill, a small knife, a set of Fine Clothes, a signet ring, a scroll of pedigree, and a belt pouch containing 10 gp. Background: Always the black sheep of her family, though not by choice. Hailing from a bustling city by the name Alenoa far from the uncivilized Frontier Town, one would likely be surprised to find a noble out here so far from their luxuries and retainers, and if you asked Livia it was not her first choice. But a choice had to be made, so she'll live with that choice. The second daughter of a powerful and respected family in Alenoa, the Fiore's are a family mired in tradition, magecraft, and an obsession for power. Livia had to learn quite quickly that in their family, talent and skill meant everything or you were hardly worth her families time. Even those in their immediate family weren't an exception to this. You either had something they wanted to put to use, or were ruthless and clever enough to keep yourself relevant in the families politics. Livia had neither to begin with, except a burning ambition to make a name for herself and not live in her sisters shadow. Her early years were spent under the tutelage of great wizards, apprenticing and studying under their learned minds, deciding early on that she'd rather spend her time learning rather than the life of a noble. So she eagerly took to her studies, pouring over tome after tome and scroll after scroll of arcane knowledge and little known lore of the world. She went through several tutors by the time she was ten, having already amassed quite a bit of knowledge about various topics of historical and arcane natures. Her mother objected to such pursuits, desiring that Livia focus more on the court and politics of nobles, a pawn to be used to secure ties to other houses or some such, but Livia wouldn't have any of it. Her studies often conflicted with her parents desires, and often directly went against their wishes to accomplish such things. Especially with her mother - who she still detests to this day. Her personal maid, Nynette, was more of a mother to her than her own mother was, and sometime in her late teens a bit more. Of course, still being noble born she had several obligations she still had to fulfill even if she wasn't too thrilled about it. Etiquette, how to maneuver in a court. Politics, which families were those you needed to watch out for, those who were to be shunned for political gain. Things her parents more approved of for her. Meeting potential suitors and other such things. While Livia was not thrilled for these prospects, she was also not one to turn down something that could potentially help her later. Most of her early years were split between noble courts and the tutelage of several wizards. Her longest tutor though, was a renowned wizard by the name of Leonan Bezif from the time she was ten to when she was sixteen. Quite an odd wizard, who was fond of card games and often used cards to equate to life and taught her various forms of them. He taught her histories, academics, math, reading, of ancient civilizations and forgotten lore and magic. The two had an odd relationship. Bezif often didn't teach Livia things directly, instead telling her to seek out things for herself. One could learn from the hand of another, but one should always be self motivated to search for answers to their questions through any means. Some people could do great, good things with such knowledge and power. Livia though? She had already decided on her course when she started. Power and knowledge simply for the sake of knowledge. During her mid teens, she began planning something. Something that would likely be considered quite obscene by a few more of the morally correct. Gathering the necessary materials, time, and ability she made plans to try summoning something from the infernal realms. Something she could summon in order to gain both lost knowledge and power. Before she could though - somehow her plans were discovered by her damnable mother and some rumors started behind closed doors. Far from being upset though, her mother seemed more amused, or even impressed. So Livia was given a choice. Continue to live in the estate and have her studies and funding cut off - or be sent to the Frontier Town, where she could do whatever she wanted away from prying eyes and potentially secure something of value to the family in the little frontier town. The choice was obvious. She intends to make good on both of those matters.
