[@CAS1006] As you might've noticed, some of the characters here have a few unusual abilities due to their backgrounds.  Given that the games have places that effectively heal-up/recharge Samus and all, I would say conveying energy to the other characters via machine is more than reasonable.  If you're literally acting to support without being combatant [i]per se[/i], you might consider the setup of temporary forcefields, maybe ome kind of instant cement for the enemies to stop or slow them down, etc.  Be creative.  If I can see the wisdom in its existence, I might allow it.  That said, what you cannot do is cure the X Parasite infection.  If someone gets it in them, you don't have the capability to stop it.  Not without Metroid cell structure to work with.
