Personality: 
Detective Donovan Lynch is a serious individual but is still an friendly and approachable person. He is free with praise and humor but refrains from sarcasm. Sometimes he uses dark jokes in an effort to cope with the realities of his work.  He treats those younger than himself with a fatherly attitude but has neglected to pursue any long term relationships, having seen first hand how his career has affected the families of his colleagues.
History:
Donovan Lynch was a police detective in Boston until he decided for a change of scenery. He moved across the counrty, settling in California for their weather and motorcycle culture. His integrity and sense of justice drew the attention of Manannnan Mac Lir, who formed a contract between them. Donovan uses the benefits of this deal to uphold his own side in pursuing justice in the eyes of the law.
With his success rate owing to a high percentage of confessions and a dogged determination, he is seen as being worthy of the respect of his peers. Outside of his career, when justice is not available in the courts he is compelled by his contract to do his duty.

Fragarach - It is impossible to lie in response to a direct answer to a question posed by Donovan and with enough effort he is able to compel a subject to answer. Conversely, he is also bound to tell the truth at all times. With just their current contract, Donovan is unable to manifest the sword itself.

Motorcycle riding - A hobby Donovan is totally devoted to. He embraces the precision and skill, using his machine as if it were an extension of his own body.
Investigation - Most of a decade as an detective has given him an eye for the little details that pull a case together and the intuition to ask just the right questions.
