The winged girl managed to just barely carry the young girl to the ground before the balloon crashed. Looking back at it she hoped that Boris would be okay. The little girl was trembling in her arms, her eyes still fearful. The winged girl gently sets her down, crouching beside her. “Hello little girl. There’s no need to look scared, you’re safe now. I’m sure your parents are okay too. They seemed to be fine, last I saw them. Would you like me to take you to them?” The young girl nodded, seeming to calm down a little. The winged lady smiled at her, taking her small hand in her own. “What’s your name hon?” “...Mikaela.” “Nice to meet you Mikaela. My name is Ilyssa, in case you were wondering.” The little girl nodded again, her face serious. “Ilyssa.” As they reached the ship’s docks, Ilyssa looked around for a way onto the ship. Finding a small gap in the crowd, she made her way onto the ship, Mikaela in tow. She looks around, quickly finding the mother of the child being supported by a few crew members. She led Mikaela over. As the young girl saw her mother, she let go of Ilyssa’s hand, running over to her parent. She hugged her mother’s legs, tears streaming down her face. The mother looked at her child, her eyes wide in wonder, before hugging said child to her chest. Ilyssa faded back into the crowd, leaving the two to reunite. She had already drew much more attention than originally intended, she’d much rather not draw more. Walking a safe distance away, she begins to look around for a place to stay the night.
