Personality: Raikou fits his name which is the Japanese word for lightning. He can be very flashy especially in his fighting but not so much in his clothing choice. He typically brings this air of energy that is known to charge those around him and supercharge who are already lively. He is able to galvanize others into action with just his very spirit and attitude. He is normally upbeat and ecstatic in that sort of lives and dies for his duty kind of way. He has this magnetic thing about him which can draw people to him but just as easy push others away. Raikou's warrior philosophy believes that fighting without emotion is bad but channeling ones emotions effectively is key.
 

History: Raikou was a boy who built and developed by Kendo. The rigor of the martial art is responsible for the man he is today. He truly loved Kendo like most people can truly love a sport they do. Raikou's instructors could probably say he exhibited a true warriors heart when competing. However heart couldn't bridge the gap between him and those who were successful at the international level. That was his ultimate despair was not having the skill. 

That skill was offered to him by Takemikazuchi who saw the warrior spirit and heart that he hasn't seen since the time of the samurai. He would give Raikou the power and skill. But not to use in a simple Kendo match or tournament but in real life. Raikou could continue to despair over his inability to develop his skills to the international level of he could gain the skills but not for commercial use. He was to become a warrior of the sword in the present time. He was to seek his battles in real life as true warrior in the name of Takemikazuchi but can never compete in Kendo again. However that doesn't mean he isn't allowed to reach out of a small dojo in LA on his free time.
