The club president didn’t seem too happy about that fact, berating the kid. She was resisting the urge to glare at him herself. After everyone settled down the club president rose from his position behind his desk. He seemed unsure, which wasn’t a very reassuring sign, but he began to speak nonetheless. Nova sat with a slight frown on her face, which was currently resting on one hand. She wasn’t as sceptical of him talking about seeing real stuff others couldn’t. After all, it was an accurate description of her life. When he began talking about ‘Spirited Away’, she began to become confused. She had never heard of that term before, even when researching the things she saw. Her frown only deepened when he spoke about them having powers. She supposed it was conceivable, what with all the spirits and Yōkai descent stuff, but she just wasn’t ready to believe that she, out of all people, had ‘super powers’, as her brother would put it. It didn’t really help that he talked about ‘coaxing powers out of them’. It sounded rather ominous to her paranoid self. She continued to sit in silence until the end of his speech. Certified badass? She certainly didn’t feel anything of the sort right now. More like complete confusion and worry. The kind girl, Suzue, spoke up, voicing some of Nova’s own concerns out loud. Nova nodded, adding on to her question with one of her own. “What do you mean by ‘coax out’? Also, what exactly are we hunting? You gave us a name, but no description. Say I run into one of these on the street, what am I supposed to do than?”
