It has been thirty three years since the end of our time approached, one that came with an iron fist, and humanity has been brought onto its knees for one final century of struggle and deterioration. In that time, technology has surged and the once great connections between all that formed the Commonwealth of Man were now but a splinter of their former self. Chaos, depravity and the loss of life became common knowledge to men, women and children worldwide when they came down from the gloomy heavens and into the arms of Earth's once peaceful cradle. Conquers of many planets before, systems untold of ever existing, the Ukon menace was to make Earth its biggest plaything in all of its existence. No one saw it coming and the warning signs were only picked up weeks before the disaster hit. All understanding of their formation, anatomy and technological brilliance was left unknown until the last minute, where millions were to die within the first months of contact. Some described them as a hivemind, others as a parasite that fed off of others, but everyone agreed that they were an enemy that was destined to annex the very foundation of human life. By the time most of the mainland was taken, many great powers fell into the clutches. The United States was split into states instead of a single body, fighting desperately for survival when the Commonwealth struggled to hold its own borders. Manpower was required and citizenship by service soon became the doctrine of all abiding nations. Every sourced currency was instantly pumped into research and development, quickly attempting to strive for machines, weapons and vehicles that could combat the threat that just kept spreading. Nation after nation fell, the Commonwealth saw itself breaking into fractions that soon formed their own alliances. Many places were quick to equip themselves with the new era of technology built for defence, offence and tactical superiority. And in the year 2069 the Goliath was entered into the field of war. Goliaths changed everything, for good. Built from the ground up, they were designed to be menacingly formidable in supporting infantry battalions during their defences across the world. However, within their first few weeks of combat the Commonwealth soon realised how important they were to destroying the largest of Ukon adversaries. More time, attention and research was sent towards the Goliath Development Programme and soon enough a huge variety was constructed over the years. Designations were starting to branch out of the same foundation model before they eventually became a specialised unit of their own. The Commonwealth calls these Goliaths, and their pilots, the M.F.H, the Mechanised Force of Humanity.

As of the year 2094, the world is in a great mess. The Ukon Invasion has bypassed its initiation phase and is now in full swing, stalemating in different parts of the world as the struggles of mankind have finally caught up in the technology race. With machines on their side and the Ukons still mutating those who were once human into husks and breeding groups of their own, the war is far from over unless something drastic is put into plan. Four major factions are still fighting on to the present day, attempting to salvage what little sanity they could over their breached homelands: The Commonwealth of Man, the Asian Alliance, the American Coalition and the African Frontier. Amongst these, several nations still hold independence and fight under their own measures, using the larger-scale war as a way to survive and leech off of their fallen neighbours.
The Commonwealth of Man is known as the last major civilisation fully reminiscing of their pre-apocalyptic governmental body. Largely they remain the same in their morals and goals since their first initiation in 2025, back when the United Nations forged an unbreakable alliance with nearly every nation of earth. Billions of citizens were assigned personal identifications under their regulations and many saw prosperous nations expanding their fortunes to the lesser-prepared. For once it seemed as if humanity had stopped its inner-conflicts and had cornered the rat of war to allow the age of man to grow and reach into the stars. Millions of men and women got jobs, industries flustered and hundreds of huge cities started to pop up, all boasting neon high-streets and beautiful under-layers. Before the invasion, the Commonwealth was largely demilitarised and peaceful, finding conflicts to be a rare issue in the new world. A small defence force was kept and trained to be the elite in all forms of environmental movement and tactical superiority. With only a few anti-commonwealth insurgencies popping up, their size was kept within the few hundreds of thousands per nation and remained entirely built from enlistees who came under their own accord. It was the Foundation of Astronomical Fanatics based in Alaska that first gained sight of the Ukon and their approach. Mostly found by radio waves transmitting unspoken languages before, many soon began to fantasise at what may be on their way. But when several orbital platforms surrounding Mars were destroyed by whatever was coming, the Commonwealth soon realised that they were in a state of emergency if they weren't going to prepare themselves. Mass panic came about the political compass as the left, centre and right all chanted different things. Many wanted humanity to survive whatever was on its way but no one could come up with a sound decision. Several nations split apart, including Siberia's independence from Russia in order to secure their own borders and aim their guns to the skies. Many flocked to the military posts of the Commonwealth with a sense of duty and righteous paths to victory. Militias formed in towns and soon the eyes were set to the stars, awaiting to see what would arrive first. But the worst part was, no one actually knew when the Ukons landed. They bypassed radar, sights, sounds and all forms of detection, stealthily dropping into many different continents and spreading its influence until the Commonwealth were too late to act preemptively. Hundreds of thousands were rushed to many different frontlines, unaware of the horrors they were to face. The Council of Mankind were brought to their knees as borders quickly became flooded with strange creatures and unwavering loss of life. A year passed since they first landed and the very first stalemate happened between the Commonwealth and the now defined Ukon. The fourth year was what saw the Commonwealth's breakup. Whilst they still remain the leading world power in taking back territory lost, many countries on the Asian Sphere were highly distrustful on the Commonwealth's defensive stance and protested for aggression. When more and more tensions rose, they soon broke away to forge their own allegiance, basing their new capital nation within Japan. Soon after, Africa began to split into many warlords before the Southern half were able to forge an ungraceful alliance with one another in order to maintain their survival. Finally, America was overrun with hundreds of Ukon creatures, storming buildings and decimating the states that remained. Millions fled behind the borders of mexico and the retreat to South America had begun, finally making a large anti-commonwealth sentiment throughout the broken world. Now the Commonwealth stands as the last potential hope for the previous land of peace, relying heavily on the glorification of war and propaganda in order to maintain the numbers required for the frontlines. They are based in Australia and Britain formally, but hold around half of the French territory that had been lost and recently reclaimed the Norwegian homeland. However, with the arrival of Goliaths, they are prepared to take advise from their human adversaries in Asia and try something far more aggressive than before.

As previously mentioned, the Asian Alliance is a broken off group that forged under the dying breaths of the original Commonwealth, determined to embrace the art of war and aggression and fight back against their enemies. Whilst they do not have the size and funding of the Commonwealth itself, their use of infantry, naval incursions and Goliaths all shroud their smaller presence into something far more capable. Seeing their old allies as a threat in itself, several skirmishes against one another has continuously raised tensions between one another, the Commonwealth seeing this alliance as nothing but an authoritarian rule that takes no value in human life. On paper they have been very successful in their aggressive doctrine, but by sacrificing such a huge wave of life in order to breach the Ukon infested territories they have become nothing more than wasted efforts. Anything beyond certain Siberian lands, small plots of Indonesia and South Korea is usually lost within a month of reclaiming them, as fatigue and attrition stops them from formulating a sound defence. With generals on the interior critiquing their leaders and their choices of aggression, they still remain slightly unstable and broken from the undying relent of the Ukon. Some say their motto is to breed children for making a future, not for occupying the future.

The American Coalition is the weakest in terms of a militarised state but remain far more politically stable in comparison to their Asian counterparts. Made up of the remnants from Canada and America unable to flee towards the Commonwealth, they work somewhat in tandem towards their superior European military, constantly trying to barter for resources, weapons and manpower in order to hold the dense jungles they sit within. Bottle-necking the Ukon in Central America is most likely the only reason such a weakened power has survived for its lengths of time, though they are rapidly losing ground within the south. Many predict that they are to die out within the next few months if they continue to lose every battle they fight within.

Easily the weakest on the political scale, the African Frontier consists of many warlords and resistance groups dotted all over the southern-peninsular of the African Continent. But where they fail on political balance the Frontier makes up for it with immense strength and numbers. Without access to Goliaths, they mostly reside in their own infantry formats and hold deep, almost unbreakable defensive lines that even the Ukon struggle to break. With its prime hive still trying to figure out its exploits, the African Warlords hold the key to using non-technological advancements, proving that the will of a beating heart is enough to keep them going. Whilst they do not like to admit it, the Commonwealth soldiers do admire them for that commitment and usually reference a lot of their bravery on a similar level to theirs.

Easily the biggest factor in humanity's survival, the Goliath programme remains as the greatest achievement in technological conflict since the first mechanical tank was introduced in the Great War. Changing the face of battle with manoeuvrability and constantly shifting the tides of battle, many soldiers put their trust in the pilots that are trained to use them. However, with the programme, there are many advantages, disadvantages and quirks that the M.F.H still face with their pilots.

The Mechanised Force of Humanity was set up by the Commonwealth to lead the status of mech-based warfare. Far more specialised than the standard infantry seen on most battlefields, they boast power, speed, mobility and core systems that can breach the very limits of conflict seen at the start of the war. In saying that, many put far too much trust in the M.F.H. to the point where they are sometimes wasted in potential and are sacrificed meaninglessly. Yet despite this, the M.F.H. have always remained the face of propaganda for the Commonwealth and serve as the poster-boys of the non-militarised life. Everyone aspires to be one of them, despite most joining other branches of the military instead. Thousands upon thousands apply and many of them seemingly get in without much effort. The demand for mechanised pilots rose far too quickly for anyone to anticipate and sometimes many inadequate pilots were deployed into the field of conflict, traumatised or murdered by the true nature of war beyond their safe city walls. The Structure of the M.F.H. is very simple. Depending on the type of Goliaths used, most Squadrons of Mech-Units are based upon their general combat role and usefulness on the frontlines. Several marksmen Goliaths are forged into recon squadrons who venture into the inevitable deaths that lay beyond the standard frontline. Equally, many take up huge ordinance roles of firepower and agility, specifically deployed to take out Ukon Primes and large waves of Husks along the way. Ranks aren't specialised like in the regular navy or air force, sticking to similar ranks you would hear from any infantryman. Those who were lucky enough to survive for a few years rose quickly to the upper ranks and remain traumatised by the things they had seen. Most important to the M.F.H. is the Pilot and their Goliath. Pilots and Goliaths go hand in hand and are subjected to heavy mental rehabilitation. Those who are empathetic and trusting are more likely to strive as each Pilot is partnered with an artificial intelligence programme directly linked into their combat gear and Goliath. The primary function of these A.I. formats are to provide tactical dominance in most cases and to always advise the pilot on what is best. However, more recently noticed for their capabilities in mental recovery, they are held dearly close to the heart by their pilots. Many pilots are known to bond emotionally with the metallic voice they are linked with, through the year or so of training they go through. Some pilots, because of this, do not feel any attachment to other pilots within their squadrons, leading to the Commonwealth trying to press for Pilot interactions on a daily basis. An imbalance of lone wolves and team leaders were born from the training fields and combined into whatever squadron suited their needs best. Yet the worst is still to come, as Pilots use a heavy neural link to their Goliath in order to maintain top progress and operative abilities. This has been known to nearly always leading towards memory loss, amnesia, nausea, PTSD and other unimaginable mental struggles. Because of this, pilots tend to go off-grid, retreating to independent countries after losing their mental footing in the war. Pilots are also heavily trained in infantry combat as fighting outside of their mech is very likely. Feeding off of life and planetary grounds as it is, Earth became their next target and a regular party of Ukon invasion fleets were dropped into the land. It is here that the Ukon tend to split into two categories, designated by the Commonwealth of Man, in order to help identify threat levels and how formidable opponents may become when faced on the battlefield.
Ukon Primes are the natural breed of the species. Far more advanced and capable than their Husk variants, they boast strength, agility, firepower and brainpower to match the more capable of human soldiers. With grotesque facial features that closely resemble a deformed humanoid, they boast communicative skills with one another to design, pilot and operate many different vehicles of their own, which generally act as the main danger to all M.F.H. pilots. Ukon Primes are also capable of varying in sizes. The standard stands at 2 metres in height, without a doubt, whilst some of the more developed brutes tower up to 18 metres if they are left alive for long enough. Whilst rare, they are definitely a possibility, especially for pilots within the M.F.H., to encounter. Their DNA is what is used to create the Husk races below them, allowing them to continuously pump out hundreds of millions of horrifying creatures that tear through the flesh of anyone or anything that stands in its way. Their weapons are highly lethal and can be difficult to treat medically if they strike a person directly, but there are many cases of people coming out alive from direct one on one encounters.

Whilst the Ukon Primes are indeed the most deadly, Husks are known for planting many nightmares into the minds of soldiers who encounter them. What makes their grotesque imagery is the fact that the Ukon Primes experiment and farm life from other planets into creatures unlike any other. Monsters from other distant systems were turned into the largest of predators whilst human life has been witnessed to be injected full of pure Ukon DNA until they deform into blackened skin, zombie-like creatures that are keen on tearing flesh and steel from their sockets. These make up the bulk of the Ukon invasion, by far, and are a threat to any kind of infantry, airman, tank commander or Mech-Pilot alike. Because of their immensely horrifying design choice by their overlords, many humans who were known to suffer from defeat have committed suicide knowing that they were killing old humans and were destined to become one themselves. This harvesting process is what drives the dribbling fear of the Commonwealth.

*An image of some sorts may be helpful, if not, go for a description of the character's appearance later on in detail.*
Name Self-explanatory Age Self-explanatory Gender Male or female.
