[indent] Hirayama is on the taller side for his age, standing in at 5'7" and weighing in at around 150 lbs. Between his blue hair, pointed face, and constant grimace, it isn't difficult for people to find Hirayam's appearance intimidating. He keeps himself in decent shape, but his lack of sports activity and general lethargy means he isn't exactly as toned as one would expect of a "delinquent" like him.

Outside of school, Hirayama wears plain colored t-shirts with either plain shorts or pants. He doesn't have much of a style, and has only been allotted the cheapest clothing possible. He owns a single tie, a single collared shirt, and an older suit one size too small that he is not fond of wearing in formal events. He does own a slightly nicer black pea coat and red scarf, one of the few gifts he has left of his father.[/indent]

Hirayama is a young boy trying to make sense of the swarming emotion that comes from growing up in the situation he is. While not always angry and iritable, some days make him prone to angry outbursts. Most of the time, he's not one to put much effort or planning into anything, instead just doing as he pleases. He's almost always searching for the perfect shot. Depending on whether it is a good day or a bad day, Hirayama is either the one to try and get people together to do something interesting or the one to sit alone under a tree not far from school and take a picture or two.

[indent] The Hirayama family home is not pleasant. Hirayama Yujiro's father divorced his mother and left for Europe 2 years ago, seeking to get something out of life he never did as an office worker. Within 6 months, his mother had married another man a few towns away and moved in with the man in Kurosuoba. His stepfather, stereotypically, does not take kindly to Yujiro. The boy didn't take his father's death well, and the added tensions between him and his new father figure often lead to confrontations at home. An agreement has been established: Yujiro spends as much time away from home as possible, and his stepfather provides a place to sleep and food for him to eat.

[indent]Shiko: Not exactly the first kind of person Yujiro would consider a friend by any means. Far too energetic and talkative for Yujiro's taste usually, but the positive energy exuded by his co-chef at the local cafe is more appreciated during Yujiro's "lows."[/indent]

[indent]Almost always on hand is his camera, a Nikon D750. He is also in possession of a few lens options if he brings his camera bag with him. Has only recently (last month) obtained a cell phone, a late birthday present from his mother.[/indent]

It's a sensitive issue at times, so I don't believe I'll ever address it by name in the RP, but Yujro may be bipolar (not severe). Just want to be upfront on that concept here formally, but I don't know if I will incorporate it to a significant extent that could not be written off as "a moody teenager."[/indent]
