They're modeled on knighthood, resulting in an organization that conducts itself in an honorable fashion and is extremely dedicated to its duties of protecting the people of Ireland(and people in general, it's just being based in Ireland means they're usually handling protecting the Irish).

As for their dealings with Soulflame, due to their justice-based ideals they approve of the organization's bid to keep clashes between Anchors under control and the like, and thus offered their assistance.
