The troopers slowly lowered their weapons but still kept vigilant in case they might be hostile. Colt then replied to both of them.

[b]Colt:[/b] You'll both have to wait here for the transports. They won't be coming until we finish the recon op.

He then told them to move to the side of the rooftop, near one of the barricades, and await the transports there. Colt then tapped into his squad coms, ordering three Assault Troopers and a Medic to accompany him on his recon op while the rest wait here and guard the refugees and protect the rendezvous point from any further attacks. As the troopers moved behind Colt and into formation, they jogged towards the doorway and proceeded to descend from the stairs all the way to the ground floor. As they arrived on the ground floor of the building, Colt gave a hand signal as the rest of his squad raised their weapons along with him, slowly moving towards the doors and exiting the building.
