To be honest, this was going even better than Kevin could have ever expected. He knew they’d written a good show, but he hadn’t expected it to do so well that Roddy was comfortable leaving the whole show in his hands. Oh, jesus, he was gonna need so much more Red Bull and pizza… And sleep? That was going to be a thing of the past. Maybe he could find some cocaine somewhere. Claire was gonna kill him.

I guess they really like him, huh?”[/b][/color] Roddy’s attention drifted from Kevin, as he looked up at the ceiling with a wistful smile on his face. Truthfully, Roddy was a man of the people, and if he needed to sacrifice his own well being to please those people? Then dammit, he would.

This is gonna be a revolution.”[/b][/color] Kevin’s luck was hitting levels that he thought was only possible if you were a Lightfoot Halfling in D&D. He was being handed the keys to the kingdom — on a trial run, but still! This was it for him. This was the dream.

The AWE was going to be his, at least the part that mattered. Maybe he’d take over the corporate stuff, maybe he wouldn’t; one thing was for sure however, Kevin Harrison and his trusted lads were the undisputed bosses now on the day-to-day operations and what went on people’s televisions. It was a lot of responsibility, and if everything was going to follow Kevin’s trajectory? Then it was going to be a lot of work. Oh man, Claire was gonna kill him… but this was what he’d wanted his whole life! She’d be understanding, he hoped.

With that, Roddy hung up the phone, and Kevin was left alone in his new ‘office.’ Normally, Roddy Quinn got the biggest room in the arenas that they ran, but starting today? It belonged to Kevin and his boys. When they went to their monthly creative board meetings at the Towers in Connecticut? Kevin and his boys got the big corner office.
