[@Leah] Why, thank you very much. I don't know if I implied it strongly enough, but the general idea was for the fights to essentially be Shu's "alcohol", as it were. Sure, he might not be a drunkard like his father, but it's still rather telling that he wound up with a sort of addiction of his own.

Oh and also, since I don't think I clarified it in the CS, Shu was indeed born and raised in Republic City.
