[color=Silver][i]Standing at 5' 11" (181.61cm), amongst some of the other averagely sized operators of the ISU, Jean doesn't make much of a visual individuality, especially when concealed in the [url=https://i.pinimg.com/236x/ff/1e/0e/ff1e0ea9967d0dc13786f10921210266--law-and-order-cops.jpg]Standard-ISU Uniform[/url]. What's more, there are no individual optimisations or upgrades to his attire, making him stand out even less from the pack. Many of the veterans from the ISU are easily identifiable based upon bodily features, sizes, outfits and weaponry, but nothing special has ever been said or seen about Jean. Whilst he does have some more appreciative facial features beneath the masks of covert operations, he hasn't really been complimented enough for such things so takes minor notice to his own appearance. With a bright hazel tone to his eyes and a short stubble surrounding his jaw, Jean maintains to be a regular man without anything too special, or so he feels. In terms of his casual clothing, Jean has been known to wear the regular civvie-street clothing anyone would be like outside of the workplace.[/i][/color]

[color=Silver][i]Constant psychological testing and analysing is required for all operators within the ISU to watch changes in behaviour and possible degrades in their mental health, meaning that Jean has as about as much issues as everyone else. When it comes to his objective-thinking, Jean can be determined and focused when he needs to be, putting his mission in priority but ultimately choosing compassion and beliefs over the goal if severity reaches such heights. Dangers against his team, civilians, innocent lives and consequential outcomes forces his mind and morality to take action, re-engaging himself with his personality to put them before his mission. To any human, this is a major positive aspect for anyone working with him, but the superiors of the DPS have their concerns on the integrity of his performance on field. Seeing as he has no track record within GIGN nor does he have any deployments outside of extensive training environments, there is no real conclusion as to how he will approach his first assignment, especially of one with such high importance.

Outside of combat, one thing is for sure: Jean is easy to attach to and be latched onto by. His compassion for fellow comrades, good-willed men and women as well as like-minded individuals brings him to his knees, metaphorically, in terms of performance. In the past, when questioned about his abilities within he team, he was reported to lean towards depending on others in order to maximise his performance. It has been stated that being a Lone-Wolf can be damaging, but not being able to rely on himself alone does raise awareness on possible confidence issues. Jean is entirely aware of these developments and tries to cut the mindset separate from his work-life, but if the situation were dire enough, life or death to name one, his true nature would certainly take formation.[/i][/color]

[color=Silver][i]Jean was born in the city of Amiens, full of life and wonder, under a military man's roof. Former commanding-chief of GIGN's operations management, Jean's father Christopher was quite the wealthy figure and influential at most. Without a mother to look after him after an early divorce in Jean's life, his loving father committed himself to fully catering for his son's safety and well-being. Whilst that was a kind enough thing to do, he also had a major part in influencing Jean's wants and needs for the future path. Using basic psychological [b]altering[/b], Jean was mainly surrounded by the knowledge of the military, specifically GIGN, until the interest peaked from what he was indulged in. Jean grew up knowing that he was, either way, destined to join some form of military service in order to please his father to the greatest amount. Without a wife, he was dependent on his son's success to keep him happy, and when the time came, Jean eventually did as he wished by gaining and enlisting placement within their ranks, spending years training with them under various programmes and confidential tasks. As many special forces go through, a lot of interrogation and CQC tactics were his highlight within the classes, and it wasn't until he passed the training that he spent 3 months on duty placement beneath his father's rule. Serving as a temporary guard during Operation: Guillotine, a combined-arms effort against a Brazilian Organised Terrorist Threat (B.O.T.T.). Here he had to take a few lives, but it wasn't a proud mission of prowess or importance in his perspective.

Once Guillotine had concluded, there were applications suddenly buzzing around the officer's corps of GIGN. For once, Jean was called into the offices by his superiors and, like everyone else in his regiment, offered a placement for training underneath ISU's command. Even by GIGN's standards, the ISU weren't heard of and were known only as an urban legend amongst veteran soldiers. The placement excited him, making him sure that his father and family name would be rightfully honoured to have such a position of silence. The catch to this decision, which he soon realised too late, was that contact with his father would cease until his service with the ISU concluded or his father transferred into the DPS. Not having the guts to leave his role, the two split for Jean to head out to his training mission. Halfway through his training programme, commotion started to leak out from the ISU's serving Operators who were beyond training, stating that they had been betrayed by one of their own. More months passed before Jean was disclosed the information about [b]November[/b], and how all the plots within the South-East of Asia were linked back to him indefinitely. Because of this, he took a strong disliking and instantly reserved himself a place on several infiltration missions to gather information on this traitorous foe. However, as he had to finish training, his reservation was constantly put on hold, until he finally came out as a rookie operator, where his first assignment was given. In large ink, mostly blotted out, the orders were clear: shoot to kill.[/i][/color]
