It seemed as if more would be joining their fold and Josephine wasn't sure whether to be excited or upset. After all, she had been branded along with the others and she was now part of this investigation. She was invested in this now, whether anyone else cared or not. And now, more seemed to be getting marked. Did Bastet just hand these out willy-nilly?

As Lady Munn got up to investigate the man's brand, Josephine took it upon herself to finally search Vera's office. She wasn't looking for anything in particular, just something to help explain some of these things. Words like Bastet sticking out would be good. And now, it seemed, Set should be added too. Jo paid little mind to the cat and the small woman who spoke up about some test she wanted to try. However, Jo noticed the social cues given off of her. She didn't remember the girl's name, but she seemed smart and skilled, if quiet.

Jo would have to remember what she saw since she was sure Vera would not allow her to take anything with her.
