Karina Frost
It took a few moments for Karina to regain her breath as she waited for Chres to come back. Holding the flames like what she did back in the inn, surrounded by flames was really taxing on her body, but once she got out, the temperature drop helped her quite a bit. The moment Chres came back, jumping out of the fading heat construct, Karina was already waiting for him. She didn't knew why it took him so long, but his heavy breathing, expression and the fact that he was limping told her that something almost went wrong. Luckily, the risk Chres took coming back there wasn't for nothing. He managed to get eleven jade candles. Together with the two Karina got from her own room, they could probably manage to do something to help them hide from the cultists for a bit longer. It all depended on luck but still... It was better than nothing. "Thirteen with the ones I got from my room." Karina replied to Chres, correcting him. Karina simply watched as Chres hastily built another heat construct. This time, it was more fragile than the previous one. They didn't have much time. "Can you still run, Chres?" Karina asked, carefully looking down to see if the cultists had any idea of where they went. "Try to preserve your strength... Things will only get harder from now on..." Karina said, looking to Chres as she waited for the innkeeper and his family to cross the bridge. The second they did, Karina crossed it with agile and swift movements. "They will soon find out what happened... We may need to fight..." she said again, with a worried expression as she rested her hand over the rapier's ornamented hilt. Now that she wasn't literally surrounded by flames, she would be able to use her magic more freely... But still... What she said to Chres was true... She also had to save her strength as much as possible...
