The hair on his head is styled with a soft lift in the front, similar to a pompadour, and the color of his hair is a muted pastel violet. His beard, stretching from his chops and wrap around his chin, connected by a mustache, is colored a muted pastel violet like his hair, giving the impression it's, somehow, hereditary. He has a soft and kindly face and his eyes are a bright blue.

His stomach sticks out a bit, but his broad shoulders help to fill out his body. He has mild muscle tone on his arms and shoulders, and has great tone on his legs.

Kev usually carries around a few outfits (including a formal outfit), as well as a jacket, swimsuit and towel in a small round satchel connected to the bottom of his backpack. The most common outfit he wears is black pants, black with a gold trim mountain boots, and his shirt is a deep purple with a gold v stretching from one shoulder to the other, pointing downward. (All of his shirts contain a chest pocket to house his joltic in.) He has a visor that is black but has the same gold v on the front as his shirt, as if they are a matching set. His backpack kind loses the trend and is a yellow/orange design with a black bottom. His poke balls are latched on the side.
