Ryio instinctively brought her cloak tighter around her as Kolo's gaze dropped to her arm. [i] Myundane, it's slang for people who can't use magic 'round here.[/i] Ryio nodded, the word's cognate was simple enough to figure out. When Ryio heard the news that her only realistic way up to the treetops was away, her eager eyes lost their fire, and she groaned. [i]Of course it's not that simple.[/i] She thought, smiling at the irony. 

[i]"I don't think that solves your now problem, though."[/i] Kolo said. Ryio shook her head, "No, it doesn't. You said she'd be back in a few days. I [i]can[/i] wait that long, but I'll be almost useless for work if I do. Do you know another way for me to get up? Or an alternative way to work- or even where this 'Lannissa' may be? I'll take anything. Though-" Ryio reached into her travelsack and laid her two remaining coins on the counter. "Please take this."
