The cat knew the different symbols branded onto them, and behaved accordingly towards them. Well it was perhaps not one of the most outlandish theories Mahendra had heard about animals. The creatutes of nature were living beings deeply connected to the cycle of life and death. For all they knew the cat had been a wise man in a previous life. 

But why those symbols of all? Symbols of life...and death. Mahendra shuddered. He was branded by the God of death, but why? And what did it mean? Had this happened before? Mahendra leaned against the wall as he tried to grind his gears of knowledge. This couldn't be the first time, right?
