Maybe this was a bad idea for the next move but Kriang knew that any battle he goes into against another great warrior had it's risks. When the two warriors rushed each other with their blades, Kriang with slight satisfaction saw how he managed to slice into the outside of his opponent's thigh. Even with this positive effect, his satisfaction was cut short when he took the elbow to the head with enough force to get Kring to his hands and knees. 

That was something he didn't see coming. With the warrior on all fours, right before he was to try and roll out the way, Kring had a feeling...that...same instinct feeling that usually kicked in if there was something dangerous coming when he couldn't see it. In the moment the blade was coming down, Kriang used his Yantra tattoo to protect him. Now....the thing about this is that he do not know what's coming and with him doing this the last moment, the blade would hit him but even with the protection, the lack of awareness of what the danger would cause him to get cut but not deep of course it would likely hurt like hell and leave him leaking a bit.
