Alignment: Chaotic Evil
______________________________________________ Personality: Before she became the demoness she was fated to become, Su Daji was the epitome of virtue. Chastity, kindness, temperance, she embodied all the good of humanity, and given the opportunity, might have even become an entirely different type of Heroic Spirit. Alas, that is not the case. After an event that changed her to her soul, she became lustful, sadistic, cruel, wrathful, prideful, practically any sin one can think of. She believes that all the world is hers to take, and her sole wish for the Grail is to be reincarnated, that she might control the rulers of the modern day, just as she controlled rulers in her own time. Appearance: Daji is scantily clad, that much is obvious, and prefers that over full nudity. She craves that extra bit of desire that she causes when she leaves something to the imagination. She will outright refuse to wear cheap or inelegant clothing, just as she refuses to accompany her Master in spirit form. All must witness the excellence she exudes. Bio: Su Daji was originally the daughter of noble Su family, and her great beauty was only matched by her equally great virtue. She was well-loved by the people of the state of Yousu, and loved them, as well. However one night, while bathing alone, she was approached by a thousand-year old fox spirit. The spirit struck her a mortal wound and possessed her body. Normally, this simple possession would have been the end for Daji, but the pain and anguish of death served to tether her soul, causing it to warp and fuse with the fox-spirit. Her curses and negative emotions and the evil spirit combined to form a "new" Daji, one who was wicked and cruel, who delighted equally in carnal pleasure and torture. Shortly after this, Yousu was invaded by King Zhou of Shang, and he took her as his prize. She became his favorite consort, partly due to her natural beauty, but also due to the fox magic she used to control his mind, and through his mind, the people under Zhou's rule. It is there where she gained fame and legendary status as Shang's Lady of Pain. She was very fickle, constantly demanding things of Zhou. Sometimes she had him through lavish parties, where the feasts were described as "ponds of alcohol," and "forests of meat." Other times her gatherings were dripping with debauchery, such as an elaborate game of cat and mouse, played in the nude. Still other times, she would have people tortured and killed merely to satisfy her curiosities. She had a man's feet removed to see if his skin was resistant to ice, she cut open a woman's belly to see her unborn child, she even had Zhou's uncle killed and his heart removed in order to confirm the saying "a good man's heart has seven apertures," but the thing she was most well-known for was the Paolao, a cylindrical bronze structure that was coated in oil and heated by a furnace that served as the structure's base. Victims would have to "dance" to avoid burning their feet, which was made extremely difficult by the oil. When the victim fell off, they were burned alive by the furnace. Inevitably, her wickedness and control of Zhou caused the people of Shang to rise up against the ruling couple. Zhou was executed and Daji was brought before a priest who was tasked with exorcising the evil spirit. This took many days and nights, but the priest's skill, experience, and faith eventual won. The spirit was exorcised, but having fused with Su Daji's own spirit, it left behind an empty shell. Su Daji spent the next few days as a soulless husk, before eventually dying. Weapon: She wields a spear that, while ornamental, is useless in her hands due to her lack of training with the weapon. ______________________________________________ Parameters:
Strength: E (A) Endurance: E (A) Agility: D (A) Mana: A (A+) Luck: A (A+)
Class Skills: Mad Enhancement: E- (EX) Most of the time, Daji is perfectly sane. That is to say, capable of speech and understanding and of above average intelligence, as opposed to being a raving madwoman. However, under certain circumstances, not only is she robbed of all reason, she cannot even formulate words, only unleashing screams and wails of anguish, in both her voice and in another, beastial cry. In return, she gains power that goes beyond humans. Personal Skills: Fox-Spirit Magecraft: A Quite unlike a typical Berserker, Daji can utilize the supernatural abilities of a thousand-year old fox spirit. With these abilities, she can shift her appearance, seduce any man or woman, and summon nine white orbs known as Star Orbs, which can serve as an outside source of mana for her Master as well as fire balls of otherworldly green flame. Resisting her seduction requires a either a Luck check or resistance against Mental Interference. Agony and Ecstasy: C What Daji gains from watching a human be tortured to death or engaging in physical intimacy goes beyond mere gratification. From participating in these activities, her wounds slowly heal, and mana is slowly replaced. For a substantial effect, substantial sacrifice is required. Battle Continuation: B The spirit that serves as Daji's puppeteer does not feel her pain, and cares not for her anguish. She could lose a limb and the spirit would pay it no notice. Only a wound that either kills her or robs her movement can put her down. ______________________________________________ Noble Phantasm:
Paolao
[sup]Ránshāo lú Kùxíng[/sup]
Rank: C NP Type: Anti-Unit Range: 1-99 Maximum Number of Targets: 1 Description: Daji brings her target into her torture chamber, both lavish and terrifying. However, upon the activation of this noble phantasm, her form changes. Her hair turns white as snow, and nine white fox tails spill out from her lower back. This form is the power of the fox spirit, but is controlled by the true Su Daji's lingering despair and rage. In this state, no one is spared from her wrath, not even her Master, if they are nearby as she rampages indiscriminately. Her attacks, while still wild and untrained, carry a lot of power, and she gains the instincts of a fox, boosting her combat abilities to their peak. Her cries, which are constant and unceasing, come with a fox-spirit spell that causes those who hear it to fear for their lives. With a particularly devastating cry, she can release a beam of super hot mana that immolates all it touches from her mouth. This Noble Phantasm constantly draws large amounts of mana from her Master, and she is too mindless to stop. She will stay in this state until she is killed, forced back into human form through the use of a Command Seal, or sucks her Master dry. If she is forced out of this form, she will be extremely weak, only capable of running. This Noble Phantasm is the culmination of the negative emotions left behind by Su Daji, and the legendary power of a celestial fox-spirit. Her cruelty, however overstated, has been cemented as a part of her legend, so the Throne has bestowed that legend upon her as a Servant.
