Civilian Personality: Years of being at war has forced Catalea to be rather strict, especially serving as a high ranking officer for the Vespasian Military. Peace and freedom for all is always at the forefront of her mind, though Preston has made her realize that the worlds are never black and white. There are always more options to explore. She has a sense of curiosity and wonder to her that opened back up after the war was over, reveling in what new experiences are available to her across the stars. When the foes fire first, all bets are off, and Catalea is always ready to drop into commando mode. Sometimes her search for the extra option can work against her, buying the enemy more time to bring her down.

-Weapons:The Broken Spear- An iconic tool of her people that she used to lead others into battle, the Broken Spear is a modular weapon that is just as versatile as she is, transforming on the spot as she needs, and can charge and use an electrical current for minor electrical shocks.
Civilian Occupation: Catalea worked as a high ranking officer of her planet's military before joining Preston to defend people wherever she's needed.

Biography---------

Character History/Origin: Catalea grew in Niu Vex, a Vespasian megacity and the largest augmentation plant on the planet. She grew up an only child, revering peace and justice above all. Her father was something akin to a policeman, but Cat wanted more. She joined the military in a difficult time as rebelious sects were growing, aimed at trying to disrupt the peace. As time marched forward, the sects united and grew in power, becoming a much larger threat than anyone could have anticipated. 

She saw her world devolve into black and white, and between the two sides came the Emerald Knight, the new Green Lantern of their sector. The Vespasians had never been strangers to the Lantern Corps, and waited eagerly to see which side he would chose. While he did align himself with Catalea and the military, he made it clear that his intentions weren't completely with them. Winning the war was the best way to introduce new concepts to the planet without falling into anarchy like the rebels wanted. It had taken the greater part of three years, but in the end, the war had finally ended after more than two decades of conflict, and Catalea couldn't have been more thankful for Preston. 

Despite her planet finally reaching peace again, Catalea wanted more. She wanted to see more, to do more. There were more people out there who needed help just like she did, and she decided to join Preston in matrimony and take to the stars to help those in need.
