[@bloonewb] it may well be that a char doesn't have many ties before the start of the rp.  Certainly going to school at the same time as others does make a difference -- at 22 to Alys's 28, they would not know each other.

[@MorningStar1399] Alexander and Alyssana did go to school at the same time, and we should figure out what interaction they've had, if any.  At the least he'd know of her brother (and probably of her).  I suspect he might have at least approached her to talk once or twice when she openly crashed Polytech classes.  That seems like the sort of thing that'd catch his attention.  I can't tell if he'd have any interest in a very awkward genius (Chris) or not, but I'm open to ideas.
