[@shylarah]You'd want 1864 then for her birth year then :-) True, but he'd be sensing the metal actually inside her body, and when removing weapons doesn't do the trick of getting rid of the metal feeling, he'd likely only then come to the conclusion of some form of automation. Mm...perhaps. At first her nonconformity might draw his attention, but after learning just how much of a killjoy stick-in-the-mud she is he'd likely become extremely disinterested in conversing with her further, seeing as he himself is filled with the charm and intensity of being she considers dishonesty. If they have met her and it wasn't through an event like another minister's ball or something, it could easily be through her shop or her being a former member of the emergency response team. Her husband is likely a bit more caught up in other things (namely his own projects), though their sons might be curious about their projects, and the middle son Eddison would likely be very interested in her wings.
