Before the rise of metahumans, the best points about Zoey would be her elegant bearing, and to those who knew of it, the push for Blackrock Medical to develop more ways of helping others. With the rise of metahumans, she’s also become a bit of a leading force in at least funding metahuman rights. However, Zoey’s attempts to be aloof can be broken. There are certain buttons that can be pressed that will make the billionaire quick to anger, dropping into a cold face full of simmering anger beneath the surface. Between the two facets of this public personality she can come across as thoughtless, at times with her sharp tongue even a bit of a bully. When not in the company of those who she needs to have these masks up for, Zoey’s quite different. She can be flirty, playful, even a touch of an awkward nerd when she gets talking about her current projects or papers that have caught her interest. Yet most of the time she just seems… worn out. Tired. Bitter. Not to mention a bit of a workaholic, on top of being a functioning alcoholic. When it was her against the world there seemed to be no end of crime, no end of those who got themselves hurt trying to follow in Grim’s footsteps. With the rise of metahumans there came companionship from others like her, but also the rise of everything else wrong with what they did. Costumed Personality For years Grim was spoken of like a myth, like a monster that lived in the shadows with the sole purpose of seeking out even bigger monstrosities. He stuck hard, fast, leaving little opportunity for someone to respond and with not even a whisper to those he saved. Even decades later in the current day, with Grim finally revealed in the spotlight placed over metahumans and their ilk, he continues to be intense and ruthless. He rarely speaks except to his allies and when necessary. On street patrols he has no fear in hurting criminals; it wasn’t much of a surprise when people were found with broken bones or concussions. Grim hits hard, fast, and dirty to prevent injury to those who don’t deserve it - and if she thinks it will stop them from returning to a life of crime or even just spilling back into the streets, even better. Yet despite this thought process, and despite thinking that some people can’t be rehabilitated and deserve to be put down like dogs, Zoey is reluctant to kill. She’s done it before, she’d be foolish to think she isn’t going to again, but she also knows that taking a life becomes easier every time, and maybe she’s become too jaded to make that decision anymore. On a lesser note, due to cultivating the appearance of being a male, both with her voice synthesizer and chest binder, Zoey is also talented at switching her mannerisms and actions to be masculine - down to her very walk. Abilities Skills Money. Tech Genius. Advanced medical knowledge. Insanely high protective instincts. Finely honed reflexes at peak human condition, and further can ignore almost any pain. Multiple unarmed fighting techniques. With enough room to spaciously build a Gundam, a garage, jet hangar, as well as miscellaneous rooms such as a medical bay and DNA lab, the prize of it all is the Grim Computer, a highly protected system that encompasses the technical operations, with multiple failsafes integrated inside of it. The Kasimir Castle itself has numerous protections built into it, from lockdown mode, to weaponry, to robotic sentry dogs, to one fat spoiled corgi named [s]Buttloaf[/s] Kero.
Weapons Grim’s weapons mostly consist of her gadgets, and are listed above. However, Kasimir Castle is home to a large number of firearms and weapons, as well as its own defenses. Most of these weapons are hidden due to paranoia. Notably, on the top level around the bedrooms is a mini gun.
Character History/Origin Maybe is was insanity that first began Grim, long before the name was ever given. Youthful arrogance, a genuine if misguided need to help, peppered with stories from her father of the great Actor Activists of old, and how their family descended from one of their closest comrades. It was all a potent cocktail that began the tale of what would one day be the myth, and the legend. Of course, starting off this career on the streets of the mostly crime-free upper city of Blackrock wasn’t exactly a glamorous start. In reality, if the truth hadn’t come out about her own family then Zoey’s little escapades would’ve likely died there. Yet fate did come together, and it was a perfect storm of events that had the teenager tracking down the man who had caused the accidental death of her mother nearly a decade earlier. It was from this career criminal’s bleeding mouth that she found the truth. Her father, the person she had loved most in this world, had bought the man’s actions that day. A seeming accident, a decade old secret. And when Zoey confronted him, all Zaden Kasimir had to say was “She was going to take you away from me.” The grief and turmoil in Zoey wasn’t at all abated by her father’s subsequent confession to the police in a misguided attempt to ease his daughter’s pain, and the budding technical genius sought escape. Moving across the country to Gotham with only her loyal bodyguard at her side, all that Zoey wanted was a new start. Yet the crime, the corruption, injustice that absolutely polluted the streets as thickly as the dark clouds above soon ignited the resentment that was slowly festering inside her. More than the resentment to her father however Zoey grew to resent this damn, corrupted city with its rampant crime and she resented the rush she got the first time she stepped in to help someone again. Maybe part of it was those stories, maybe it was wanting to prove to herself she wasn’t like her father that had her going out onto the streets every night, despite those early times in Gotham nearly killing her. It became an obsession. She was already trained how to defend herself due to the enemies that her family might have, but Zoey was soon taking it further. No martial instruction was left out, and she brutally stamped out any memories of long trips hunting with her father when she picked up a weapon. When she wasn’t on the streets, she was creating - gutting old battlebots created in her youth to put together whatever could give her an edge in cutting through the much of crime. Part of her realized the irony when she turned to using her family’s medical background to create even more effective combat devices. Most of her didn’t care. There were too many criminals walking free, and maybe Zoey couldn’t do much about it, but maybe, just maybe, Grim could. And Grim did. The myth and the legend grew over the next two decades, and though content to stay in the shadows it was never meant to be. When magic finally returned to the world Zoey was left flat footed, revealed officially in the New York Riots, though through befriending Lady Arcana and finding one of her old friends had these powers she quickly regained balance. That genius that first created Grim’s tech was soon turned to applying magic, though Zoey had none. With this new advantage came new threats, and Zoey had to make sure both herself and her adopted son were safe. It was this friendship with the two heroes, not to mention her own desire to assist, that had Grim being part of the One Week War in a far more grand scale. Every bit of knowledge she had hoarded and stretched went into battling the Titans, and when the dust settled with her and six others elevated beyond the rest. To be honest the fame kind of disgruntled Zoey. Still, she worked with it. Keeping her ditzy public persona helped as behind the scenes she designed not only an entire space station, but more and more of what was needed for her to work with them. The Iron Fang Armor is possibly the absolute pinnacle of current day battle tech, and though Grim would never be as strong as Tank nor as fast as Velocity, she had all she needed. In truth, the grief of losing her son to Anarkee sparked a lot of that innovation in the five years after the One Week War. Throwing herself into work [and the bottom of numerous bottles] was Zoey’s best coping mechanism, as well as her second adopted son. If it wasn’t for Malcolm and the Justice League she would no doubt be much worse off. As it is, part of her knows she’s driving her second son off with her worry and protectiveness. As Grim, all he could do was his best to protect the world and his family. As Zoey, she couldn’t help but feel she had failed them. Optional information Nemesis: Anarkee Allies: Justice League, Watchdog, Tiger, Commissioner Jasper Team: Justice League

Alias: Demon Civilian Name: Joshua Christophe Origin City: Hub City Hometown: Hub City Sex: Male Race: Metahuman. Height: 8’10 without the horns, 10’ with them Weight: 950 lbs Age: 17 [23] Birth Date: February 15, 2002
Appearance: Joshua, for all intents and purposes, looks like a demon. His skin is a dark navy color with a few bright red markings – a line over each eyebrows that then turns up to just slightly over his horns, just under his eyes, two stripes along his jaw, and a few along his shoulders, back, and thighs. His horns point up from his forehead with the slightest of curves, the same dark blue as his skin, with long pointed ears and eyes a pure glowing white with no pupils or iris. All of Demon’s teeth are pointed and slightly elongated, but his bottom canines are so long that they can’t fit in his mouth, having a slight curve to them so they can rest easily outside. His hair is black, and a little wild, having a thick layer of scruff along his jaw and his haircut is short but messy – he cuts it himself after all. His nails are black and sharp, not to mention hard as rock, and his feet are warped to being almost gargoyle-esque in nature – he stands on the balls of his feet and his toes have grown to basically be talons with a rather impressive grip. Lastly, Demon is very impressively built, with arms like tree trunks and thick muscle all over his body.

Civilian Personality: Josh tries really, really hard. In the end, it just makes him come out kind of awkward. For a teenage boy he’s really sincere naturally, trying to cover it up with a tough front and posturing. To be honest it doesn’t work out well, considering he’s also prone to crying a lot. Josh is also really more of a follower than any sort of leader, naturally following orders and trusting the judgment of others over his own due to a lack of self confidence. Abilities Skills: Knows a few things about defending himself and using his bulk to his advantage, but is barely above someone just learning their first martial art in terms of skill. Powers Demon Form: Josh changed to Demon months ago, and if there’s a way to change back he hasn’t found it. Enhanced Strength: As Demon, Josh has an amazing amount of strength. Metal crushes easily under his hands, and he can shoulder his way through brick walls. He’s capable of lifting hundreds of tons. Thick Skin: While not completely invulnerable Demon’s skin is more durable than most, especially against elements such as cold or fire. He has more stopping power when it comes to physical attacks as well, but isn’t nearly as invincible – an animal’s teeth would barely scrape, and most bullets would pierce but not even fully enter his body. Accelerated Healing: Demon can heal from an injury that would normally comatose or kill a normal person within a few days, smaller injuries healing much faster. A typical cut would be completely gone within an hour, and infections or sickness typically burn themselves out before it even starts. Acid Fluids: Both his saliva and his blood are acidic, capable of burning through metal in minutes. Enhanced Reflexes: Demon’s reflexes are much higher than an average human’s. Nightvision: Even in pitch darkness Demon can see perfectly, as though it were broad daylight. His vision is slightly better than an average human’s as well. Gadgets: None Weapons: None Civilian Occupation: [Former] High Schooler
Character History/Origin Honestly, Josh was pretty much a normal guy before he transformed. His family was lower middle class, christian, had an alright house for Hub City, two kids and a dog. Josh was the younger of the two, in his junior year of high school and on the football team – sure, he wasn’t the best on the team, but he was part of it! And, okay, so some of the other guys made fun of him for being a bit of a cry baby, but as one of the bigger guys on the team it was mostly light teasing. He was even pretty sure one of the girls in his homeroom class was into him! Then things started changing. At first it was actually kind of cool. It seemed like he was hitting a second growth spurt, he bulked up easier, he even felt stronger! Sure, it came with some sickness, and for some reason his body was reacting in other weird ways like the strange bumps on his forehead but that was fine. The next football game he was practically the star player, no one able to stand up to him. It was exhilarating. It was amazing! That night his tooth brush melted in his mouth. Literally. Everything began falling apart. Josh tried to hide it as long as he could, to figure out what was wrong with him. Those little bumps on his forehead kept getting bigger, he outgrew all his classmates, outgrew everyone in the school and could barely fit in his desk! He was getting sicker, his teeth were growing weird points, even his skin was taking on an odd, sickly hue. Though he didn’t know it, the return of magic – and more importantly, the influx of its presence around Hub City – was activating his own metagene in a slow, steady fashion. The more it seeped into his very body, the more he changed. It would’ve continued along that route too, if it hadn’t been for Iron Eagle. On December 1st when the terrorist attack had struck the fires in the Wedge had burned fierce and long, spreading to nearby homes and neighbourhoods. The Christophe home was one of those caught in the wild blazes. As sick as he was from his body’s constant change Josh was passed out when the fire started. With their parents out for the night his older sister, Hannah, attempted desperately to wake him, their dog wildly barking at her side. By the time Josh was finally roused from his sleep, disorientated and feeling like he was on fire, the room literally was on fire. Flames licked at the ceiling, burning away at the wood as Josh staggered to his feet. His sister urged him to the hallway but he had taken too long to rouse. The ceiling collapsed on all three of them, and the floor gave out. Josh really couldn’t describe what happened then. Heat had filled his body, different from the flames, powerful. The fire that once burned him no longer seemed more than a bother, the weight of the debris above them trifling at best. He had instinctively grabbed onto Hannah and his dog during the fall, protecting them from being harmed. It was almost pathetically easy then to stand up, the weight above him nearly shrugged off before he merely shouldered his way out of the nearest wall and to fresh air. He could see his parents pulling up as the fire seemed to illuminate everything as bright as day. His dog was barking in his arms, his sister shifting – everything would be fine. ... Then his mother started screaming. Josh had nearly dropped the two in his arms out of pure surprise at being startled by the noise. Yeah the house was on fire, but the scream was absolutely blood curdling, and she was pointing at them. At him? In the next moment he did drop Hannah, as his dog’s teeth dug into his arms deeply, tearing the blue skin before the dog yelped and let go. Blue skin? Josh stared at his bleeding arm, red mixing along the deep navy blue, his nails long and black as onyx. When his mouth dropped open in shock he could feel something weird moving against his upper lip, and reaching up to feel there were teeth, jutting out from his bottom jaw longer than any normal human’s. There was so much yelling. Josh could only look down at his sister, unconscious at his feet, then up at his parents, scrambling to the car. He took a step towards them but before he could get another, a shot rang out. The windshield of his parents car was broken, pain bloomed in the side of his head, and heat ran down his face as he staggered. Another shot, this one ruffling the hair on his head. A primal fear bloomed in him, and with strength he didn’t think he’d have Josh took off. Screams followed him as he bolted through the neighborhood. People ran. When he stumbled into a car trying to brace himself as his head pounded the roof crushed under his grip. Then the sirens, police shouting and lights – another gunshot. Disorientated and panicked, Josh fled once more. Wanting to get away from the screams, the yelling, he ripped a manhole cover up. He was too big to climb in normally, but the pavement crumbled under his hands and shouldering the rest of the way in he managed to climb down and flee into Hub City’s expansive sewer system. And… that’s where he stayed. For more than half a year. Venturing back into the surface had people screaming, running from him. The hobos down in the sewers did the same. Even when he tried to talk to them, all Josh got was yelled at. “Demon!” “Demon!” “Demon!” Eventually Demon just sort of … accepted that was who he was. Trying to talk did nothing. He could only survive by stealing from the hobos, eating rats, doing what he could. It was a miserable existence. Yet he couldn’t leave. He didn’t know what to do. He was strange, different. A wound that should’ve killed him, that destroyed his eye, was healed within a month – even his eye grew back. Glowing white. The bullet was probably still lodged somewhere in his head. Then Demon saw it, one day while looking for supplies in the local hobo camp down in the sewers. They ran from him, as always, and he took only what he needed. Yet one of the shitty little TVs was playing a news story, riots in New York. Lady Arcana – he had seen her on other news stories. And… someone else. A monster. Like him, but different. Helping. When he eventually found Harris, thanks to Lady Arcana’s intervention, it was both everything Josh wanted and not what he was expecting at all. He lived in a forest for nearly a year, but he learned about helping others from Mr. Harris as well as a bit more on how to control himself. His confidence began growing, and with it his capabilities as he became more confident in his own skin. It still wasn’t enough against a Titan. During the One Week War, Josh separated from Harris to combat the second Titan ravaging the US. All it took was one misstep, one stupid moment of trying to save someone else, and Demon was not only crushed but literally split in two. Had it been anyone else, they would’ve died. As it was, Demon’s healing managed to keep the upper half of his body just barely hanging onto life, though if it wasn’t for the quick intervention of Lady Arcana he still would’ve perished. Locked away in the Rock of Eternity for five years, the stasis abilities of a certain room allowed Josh’s self-healing to focus on the slow process of repairing his body, rather than having to keep him clinging to life. Now, five years later, Demon has once more emerged into a very different world.
Optional information Nemesis: Allies: Mr. Harris! Sex Female Race The name is unpronounceable in human tongue (but if it was it would have an excess of X’s), but they're more commonly called Devourers - which was given to them by the Lantern Corp. Height 4’11’’ Weight Many. Age 17-ish Birth Date Arrived March 3rd.

Icon: A happy face! In yellow! Personality To many people, Kailani could easily be described as a puppy. Excitable, curious, and hasn’t quite learned the nuances of what is and isn’t a chew toy. She is incredibly upbeat, often sporting a toothy grin and bright eyes, as well as being incredibly hard to shake from that stance. Even death isn’t much of a dampener on her mood, being that she’s eaten plenty of people before - she sees bodies in a detached way and is never made queasy by death. It’s a good idea to keep an eye on her actually, considering that ‘eating’ is her usual way of exploring or discovering something she’s curious about. Which, again, is a lot. Everything appears new to Kailani, and she’s an eager student - so far she likes batteries! They make her tongue tingle. As an aside, she’ll often describe things by taste or texture rather than anything useful. Abilities Black Hole: Kailani’s race is famous for their ability to devour anything. Solids, liquids, acids, rocks, bones - they can digest absolutely everything, as well as bite through everything with a combination of powerful jaws and strangely coated teeth, not to mention a reinforced throat. On the flip side however, they eat a lot, and if they don’t get enough mass ingested their bodies will begin to eat itself from the inside out. Alien Physiology: The armor-like hide and heavy density seem to travel over with Kailani whenever she’s in her human form - getting her on a scale will bring up extremely strange results. Adaption: These aliens are also extremely adaptable to their environment, as they have to be in order to eat whatever is in it! When they eat enough of a species they can take on qualities of it in shapeshifting - but not specific ones they ate, rather just a variation of the race. As well as that, due to being bred partially to help with recycling, their very lungs will adapt to whatever planet they’re in to purify the air; on earth they’d breathe in carbon monoxide and exhale oxygen, as well as destroying harmful pathogens they inhale as their body attacked with the ferocity of breaking down whatever entered their bodies. Adaption Part 2: Electric Boogaloo: Part of the previous ability includes being able to pick up languages extremely easily, and even if their natural language of pitches and growls from large mouths full of sharp teeth can’t handle it that’s what the shapeshifting is for! Civilian Occupation Err… Foreign Exchange Student?
Character Origin Historically, Devourers have a very mixed reputation. They were first discovered when their natural predator on the planet Zaox became endangered, allowing them to breed out of control and emerge from underground. Soon they were devouring cities, people, and it’s said the very planet - down to the last rock they stood on. After all, with their hardy constitution and adaptability if they could survive being without food long enough to hit another planet while floating around, they’d just continue on with engorging themselves on everything in its path. With that being said, Devourers when not hungry (or at least, not as hungry) showed an obvious intellect. Their bodies adapted to any place they were found, some being found green and covered in leafy foliage while others were course-skinned with diamonds seemingly embedded in them. More than that, they seemed to be able to almost understand any race they came across - sometimes as friends, more often as enemies. Eventually, someone had the idea to use them. A good, well-fed Devourer could completely replace a garbage compactor and seemed happy for it - better for the environment, better to not make an enemy of the dangerous creatures. There were still incidents, like what happened on Pekelo. No one can really say where the original Devourers came from. If a pregnant one had eaten its last planet and ended up landing on Pekelo, if someone smuggled some eggs in and lost them, or even if they had always been there but contained. What everyone on Pekelo knows is that one day they were discovered - a whole infestation of Devourers, having already eaten what was estimated to be a tenth of the planet’s core beneath the crust. It certainly explained the influx of earthquakes and cave-ins. A group of Devourers that big would never have a use, not when they couldn’t be contained. That’s why the Lantern Corps were called in. Devourers are strong, tough, fast - they needed the power of the Yellow Lanterns to be exterminated for the good of everyone on Pekelo. Yet not everyone felt this was fair. They were intelligent, could seemingly understand them like they did to so many races before, and though the planet was in danger it wasn’t the Devourers’ faults for being what they were. So it was that a small group of them began to smuggle what Devourers they could convince to let them help to safety. This is what happened to Kailani - though she didn’t go by that name at the time. As one of the smallest Devourers, excluding babies and the very young, she was easy to pack in a transport pod at her mother’s urging to go with Pekelo’s natives. It was her bad luck that this was also when the Yellow Lanterns discovered what was going on. In the ensuing scuffle her transport pod was damaged, and though it took off it went off course - which may be why the Lanterns never caught up. It was her continued bad luck that she ended up in the Milky Way, and inevitably, the mostly uncontacted Earth. She hit land, at least, as adapting to live in liquids was never pleasant. After eating the door off the transport pod Kailani found herself on a little island, that had even stranger creatures. For awhile she kept to herself, only observing them and eating the remains of her ship after they had finished investigating it. That’s when the strangers came, similar to her bipedal creatures - but different. Unbeknownst to Kailani she had landed on one of the very few uncontacted tribal lands in Polynesia, and with the governments that normally kept the laws regarding them being uncontacted in complete disarray after the One-Week War, these people became nothing more than a point of interest to mercenaries. Wealthy collectors would pay a pretty dollar for exotic things from these islands - for pictures, mementos, evidence they had been where no one else was allowed. It was lucky that it was very few who had this interest, otherwise the islands might have been stripped bare before Kailani arrived. As it so happened, Kailani found a connection with these strange creatures, stranded on this island as she was. So when the new bipedal creatures pointed strange things at them that made loud noises and shot fire, she went to their defense, and did what she did best - devouring the strangers, devouring their weapons, devouring every trace they had ever been there. And when it happened again with people seeking out their comrades, then again for that crew, so did Kailani’s rampage happen again. Eventually the people of the island began to help feed her enormous appetite. She protected them after all - even if she sometimes dug up the graves of the recently dead to eat. (After all, it must have been a gift! Why bury perfectly good food if not for the burrowing creature to snack?) Between the strangers and the familiars, Kailani even managed to change to a form that could blend in to these people - it just took a couple crew of men. It was during the fifth “month” that the fourth group of bipedals showed up. As usual, Kailani had happily scampered into the water to swim out to them - and was met with amusement as this small girl had clambered up into the boat, curious and bright eyed. That amusement was quickly replaced with alarm when she bit a man’s arm clean off. Even more so when a bullet just seemed to rebound off her skin! In all, it seemed to be just another boat full or morsels for Kailani… until it wasn’t. Until there was a person she couldn’t just handle with teeth. Well, to be fair, she probably could devour the woman… if Kailani could actually manage to sink her teeth in. Yet as it was the last person on the boat had managed to stop her cold, with movements too fast to track and blows that strangely hurt. Even changing back to her true form didn’t help! When Kailani retreated to lick her wounds the woman followed, as curious about the alien as it was to her. It took some time for Kailani to figure out more of the language this woman spoke, but thanks to catching snippets of what the other bipedals spoke soon Kailani was parroting phrases back. It helped once she stopped trying to bite this strange woman on realizing she was no longer interested on the other residents of the island. And what this woman, now introduced as Siobhan, spoke of was so fascinating! Creatures all gathered in cities like the scampering people of her own planet, but even more densely populated and full of strange contraptions, strange materials, strange food. When Kailani was promised that these people would be left alone after the latest disaster to befall an expedition, not to mention the girl’s own burning curiosity, well … how could she resist going to America? Even if she's not allowed to eat people anymore.
Additional Information Nemesis: Snowflame Allies: Also Snowflame?? Jaina prefers letting others do the talking, but when she speaks people listen. The drive and determination she shows also let her quickly climb the ranks of Gotham PD, accompanied by some back alley dealings with the more corrupted aspects. Background: Although she was born in the city of Blackrock, Jaina moved to Gotham over twenty years ago with her then ward, Zoey Kasimir. While her title may have only been bodyguard to the girl, in the years Jaina was guarding her they grew to be close as family. After the devastating reveal of Zaden Kasimir’s betrayal, she couldn’t very well leave Zoey to her grief by herself. While she was with Zoey for the first few years in Gotham, Jaina was never destined to be a bodyguard her whole life. Considering she couldn’t stop her charge’s particular hobby she instead moved to something she was passionate about, while still being able to help her, and joined Gotham PD. The place was rife with corruption, something both women knew, but come current day she’s managed to climb the ranks to the top. Most of it was her particular personality, desiring nothing but fair resolutions and a law-abiding city, but there have been times where certain elements needed to be removed. Not out of ambition, but necessity. A city couldn’t be healthy with rot at its center, and although she’s not as fanatical as Zoey, Jaina can appreciate that sometimes people need to be asked to move. Now as the Commissioner, Jaina works on making sure no more corruption runs through her force, that they’re well prepared for this new age of magic and monsters, and that Gotham becomes more than the dark city it was when she arrived.

Age: 17 Birthdate: February 13 Hometown: Hub City Sex: Female Race: Human, homo magi Height: 5’6’’ Occupation: College Student [Magical Theory major] Personality: A nervous wreck of a person is an apt description of Hannah. She’s quiet, withdrawn, and lacking a spine. She does, however, have a tendency to ramble – though she can catch herself most of the time due to conditioning. Background: Hannah is the second child of the Christophe family, her older brother being one Joshua Christophe. After his strange transformation and disappearance nearly six years ago she was devastated, knowing the hulking ... creature that had rescued her from her family’s home burning had to be him. He had picked her right up in his arms, after all, before his transformation had begun. A year after that, during the One Week War, her own magical abilities began to surface. Rather than a repeat of a transformation, Hannah’s abilities were much more controlled as her own recessive gene was that of a homo magi. Her parents, regretful after causing Josh to flee in fear and never return, were more than accepting of her. They wanted her to learn to control her own abilities lest something happen again, though of course not as one of those rough housing vigilantes. A tutor was expensive, but Hannah managed to get a few lessons scraped together where she showed an aptitude for transfiguration and appearance manipulation. She absorbed everything she could get her hands on, and after all that happened, not to mention living in the Hub City, home of Lady Arcana, it seemed like a no brainer to apply for Atlantis’ University of Poseidonis. The interest she had shown, as well as high grades, managed to land her a spot in the fabled school.

Age: 19 Birthdate: September 03 Hometown: San Francisco Sex: Female Race: Human; homo magi Height: 5’10’’ Occupation: Chief Durability Inspector, Harlow Enterprises Personality: Victoria is a bit of a wild card, not seeming to care much about anything – even herself. She’s hardly ever serious, even on the job, but seemingly at random can switch to a facade of politeness that is at least passable. On a normal days Tori only has two settings though; laid back and cheerful or excitable and manic. Background: Born and raised in California, in many ways Victoria seems like a typical surfer chick. In truth a lot of it seems to be a mask, as being raised by a single mother that was disowned by her own family, Tori didn’t have much growing up. While her mother was working long hours to keep them afloat, Victoria was out on the streets learning how to cause maximum trouble. From pick pocketing to roughing up others, to just plain being a hooligan, it seemed she was destined for a life in and out of prison. It didn’t help that she was proven to be a very, very powerful Homo Magi after accidentally blowing apart a cyclops with sheer magical energy during the One Week War. Surprisingly, rather than taking this new found power once everything calmed down and becoming terror incarnate, it seemed to focus Victoria. Having a purpose was good for her, and though she’d never be able to get the lessons some might in controlling her power, she had no desire to hurt others either. Blow shit up though? Hell yes! A high school drop out didn’t have many prospects, admittedly, but she enjoyed throwing out bolts of raw energy around the local quarry she was hired at. It was sheer luck that word of her made it to someone high up at Harlow Enterprises, and offered a job at a much more reputable company at double the pay, how could Tori say no? Plus, blowing shit up!
