[@LunarMist] Kiba let out a yelp of surprise and pain and he felt the bullet hit where his hip connected to his spine. His front legs gave way, but his stubbornness prevented his back legs from doing the same. He looked to where he saw the deer, mentally cursing as he watched the doe exit his line of sight, scared off by the noise of the gun and Kiba's yelp. Letting out a growl, Kiba tried to force himself to stand up, and give chase. But, a new scent hit his nose, and the large white wolf looked around, before realizing what the scent was and where it was coming from. He had been shot, and his wound was bleeding, staining his white pelt a scarlet color. But Kiba was determined not to fall, despite the fact that pain was making it hard to stay up. "I have dealt with worse pain than this. But why can't I stand all that well?" Kiba wondered, before he finally lost the battle with his body to stay upright and fell to the ground, breathing heavily.
