Not much of James's childhood was very noteworthy. He was an average person growing up, he just liked to play with his friends and tussle with his brothers and eventually little sister. However, it was the sheer normalcy of James's life that prompted him to sign up for the Marines. Life was much too boring for him, and going to school and getting a job that confined him to a cubicle all day didn't sound like something he'd be really into. The day he turned 18, he walked himself on over to his local recruiting center and signed the papers. Before he knew it, he was shipped off to boot camp and sent on his way to Afghanistan before he could even think twice about his decision to lay his life down for the country. His time overseas was the polar opposite of normal. From the minute he was deployed, he was faced with very dangerous situations that often put him in the face of danger. He was unfortunate enough to be deployed into the Korengal Valley, which is more than notorious for being one of the most dangerous places to be deployed. To say that James saw some shit would be a severe understatement. He saw his peers lose their life in a blink of an eye, he saw the men he once shared a room with disappear in a cloud of dust and fire. James was lucky he made it out. After his deployment ended, James had come out worse for wear. He didn't know what to do. For a country that flexed so much of their military, they sure took shitty care of the people that were dumb enough to sign on. The Veteran's Association took awful care of him, despite somehow managing to diagnose him with PTSD. Growing tired of the incompetent treatment, he stopped seeking it. It was better that he deal with everything himself in his own way rather than hope that something somewhere came along to help him along. It wasn't long until someone with his skillset was noticed by certain people. His military background along with his intimidating stature and presence proved more than useful to the tribe that took him in. Extra Information:[list] [*] Wires money to his sister every month.
