He didn’t bother catching the last name. He wasn’t even sure if the guy had even said a last name. The only thing he cared to focus on was how Ariel appeared to be bored, so there was no doubt in his mind that she wanted to be saved from his more-than-subtle action of pulling her by the arm, though in his eyes he saw it as gracing Ariel with his company. How was that a bad thing? And yet, at the moment that followed him taking her by the wrist less than five feet, Kavi Salvador experienced something he had never experienced in his time dating in just the past year: a girl said no to him. Not in the kind of way that made him sound like some rapist. Kavi has a long list of people he has dated. The entire list included girls within his age group who have shown some kind of interest in him and he, of course, indulged them. While the fun lasted, if Kavi found himself to be bored of their company, he’d just gently let them down. If they didn’t go down without a fight, he would be blunt. That was simply how he was. So, imagine the teen’s surprise when he not only saw the look of flat-out rejection in Ariel’s face but the way she appeared to be completely against the idea of Kavi Salvador whisking her away like the Prince Charming-type he always saw himself. Never in his life did someone reject him. Who did she think she was? Kavi didn’t get rejected; he did the rejecting. Everything in his body was telling him to walk over to her and turn on the charm, but once Kavi saw who had just arrived at the party halted him in the half-step he took forward. He definitely didn’t want to deal with those who would automatically give him a hard time simply because he acted certain ways. So, no thank you. Kavi was not going to deal with the Misfits that claimed sole ownership of being actual Misfits. They were his friends, yes - well friendish people - but he didn’t feel like dealing with their criticism right now. So instead, he opted to turn completely around and see what else this party had to offer. He ended up spending the next five or so minutes hovering around the various areas of interest of the main party. He saw a lot of people shouting too loud for his own good. There was no way in any hell that may or may not exist he was going to willingly give those annoying brats his time of day. If they wanted to come his way, they would have approach him, not the other way around. Around that same time, Kavi caught the glimpse of the Class President, Victoire Bailey and her...whatever they darted away from each other. She made her way to where alcohol was in full view while the other two went for the pool. He definitely wasn’t going to bother Vic, so he opted to go to the pool area. Casually, the teen took a seat next to the positively hot redhead as she seemed to be talking to that Lucas guy. Kavi remembered seeing him around the quad during the week. He couldn’t remember exactly what his last name was. Anderson or some shit, but Kavi didn’t necessarily care about remembering it right now. He was more focused on the strawberry blonde next to who he took a seat next to. “You’re Nadia, right? I remember seeing you around the school,” Kavi casually said, giving Nadia his typical smile. “You’re the head cheerleader, aren’t you? I mean. How could you not be? You’re definitely attractive enough to assume the role.” Kavi was not shy about being blunt, though his voice had a somewhat flirtatious charm about it. “I’m Kavi. Kavi Salvador,” he extended a hand out in front of her, brandishing the same smile still.

[sub]L O C A T I O N / / Somewhere at School I N T E R A C T I N G W I T H / / Cute boy in the pool[/sub]

Life had never seemed to be pointing upwards as it did right now for Stella. She heard laughter and all forms of jovial reactions to the party as she enjoyed the refreshing feeling of the pool. The heated pool this late at night felt so good because, while the air was kind of brisk, the warm water all over her fleshy body made Stella become overtaken by such a good, giddy, full-of-sunshine-and-rainbow feeling. All of what she thought this party was going to be like had - at least thus far - not bene like she imagined. As she swam for a bit and looked around the party, she happened to see Diablo talking to Bea Endive. Oh poor Bea. Stella was almost tempted to go over there and do..someting, but she stopped herself. She knew that as soon as she got out of this pool, she wasn’t going to stop Diablo from talking to Bea. The only thing that came to her as she would approach that man was how she’d give into her lack of self-control when she was around the man. Even as she was enjoying herself at his party, far away from where he was right now, she could feel herself become overcome with the desire to just go over there and say hello; but that wasn’t how this was going to go for her. Absolutely not! Stella Lambert wasn’t going to start degrading herself by willingly going over there. “Just keep swimming~ Just keep swimming~” She chanted to herself in a sort of sing-a-long mantra tune. As she floated and dove and did the butterfly stroke, she managed to tire herself within a short amount of time. This prompted her to go to the shallow end of the pool and just rest up. And because of that action, the girl happened to see someone she recognized along with someone else she knew right away. Kavi was over here, talking to Nadia! But that wasn’t what caught her eye. Some totally, incredibly, without-a-doubt-attractive man with the most alluring eyes was just a few feet away from her. Lucas Anderson was his name. She knew him because they had history together. One thing she wondered if they had chemistry with each other. Oh go, don’t think like that Stella! She wanted to shoot herself in the foot right now for thinking that, but she knew the blood would show, so better not bring too much attention to herself. Instead, as swell as she could, Stella put her best ‘normal’ face on and smiled the hot man’s way. “Lucas! Heyyy! It’s me Stella. Remember? We have Government together.” Oh that was an obvious conversational starter. Please don’t let it be a waste of first things to say. He might like the guy on some days, there was no way in hell he wanted to deal with that guy, especially after how Ariel Grey gave the teen his first rejection. Sonny has known Kavi a long time and if there was one thing the Drake teen was sure of, Kavi Salvador wasn’t going to take that well. With that aside, though, Sonny was just glad to not have to deal with Santiago, either. As he saw it, the further that ass flower stayed away from him the better. If he knew what was good for him, he wouldn’t want to mess with Sonny. Taking a sip of his drink, Sonny happened to notice two new arrivals at the area they were at come within moments of each other. Of course, there was Ariel but Kavan also joined them. “Kind of glad you decided to show up. I’d much prefer the Indian Kavi instead of the Polynesian Kavi.” Sonny admitted with a sense of relief in his voice. “After the scene that just happened, I imagine the dumbass is probably in a sour mood. First time getting rejected and all that,” Sonny laughed. He didn’t know why but Kavi getting rejected was the best thing about this party. “And we have you to thank, Ariel. I have to imagine he’s not gonna be happy.”
