Some more catching up and conversation filled the rest of the walk to the inn. Danee-Na continued to steal glances at Karl, Meesei, and Sabine, occasionally asking little questions. She did not ask anything which would have required revealing their nature; most likely the girl had not met many foreigners before.

The Wamasu's Nest, with its many changes, took Sabine's breath away. She was speechless approaching and walking in for all the nice little details that had emerged since the last time they visited.

"Mmm, what a lovely smell," Karl remarked when they walked in. "Sabine has told me about the local food. I was sceptical but...this is nothing like back home."
