The telescope experience in the observatory had been enjoyable, even if Leo had managed to talk his way through the entire thing with absolutely no knowledge of the night sky. Even so, it was about the company and there was nobody he would rather be with at that moment. As they walked Leo put his Santa hat back on before putting his arm around Dustynn. It wasn't a conscious decision but a natural reaction to the moment. He felt a closeness to her that had been missing from his life and the past couple of hours had reinforced that to him. He could feel her body heat even through their multiple layers of clothing.

[color=#e99fff]"I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was something I always wanted to do and just thought it was a bit...different. We could have just gone to the cinema and gotten some food or gotten drunk."[/color] He paused for a moment realising his mistake and laughed. [color=#e99fff]"Don't get me wrong, I love to get drunk as much as the next person...I just wanted to do something with you that wasn't totally cliche. Unfortunately things are likely to end up cliche as shit from this point onward."[/color] He turned down to Dustynn and smiled. The pair were walking down a snow covered path flanked by trees and streetlights. [color=#e99fff]"I mean look at this path, it's clearly like something a romance movie. I can see it now, you'll slip, i'll land ontop of you, brief pause and then boom...kiss."[/color]

Unfortunately for Leo his prediction hat wasn't quite working right. With his next step the world began to spin and twist before finally becoming still. He found himself looking upwards at the night sky between the bare branches of the flanking trees. He could see Dustynn lean over to look down at him, his embarassment meant he decided to stay lying in the snow. He began to laugh to himself before looking directly at her. [color=#e99fff]"Right...get the laughter out of the way, you know you want to."[/color] His voice was as sarcastic as the expression on his face as he waited for Dustynn to laugh at what could only be the workings of sods law.
