[center][u][b]The World[/b][/u][/center] This world is based loosely on the Aberrant world (Very Loosely) because I’d like to keep things as simple as possible. I want to limit the upper levels of power in the beginning at least as far as the PC’s are concerned so that people are at least on the same power point levels. The biggest point I want to make is there are no Supers below the age of 17 and if you want me to bore you I can write some pseudo science sounding reason why that is so but in reality it is because 10 year olds hanging out with adults is creepy. As I pointed out in the first post the eruption of Gammas began shortly after the first Atomic bomb tests. In the beginning it was a trickle of Gamma but as the world powers took a bit of time to catch on to the fact that bomb testing was part of the cause of people being granted the power of Demi Gods so by 1962 the number of new Gamma was 1,500 worldwide and by 1975 4,000+ which caused the powers that be a great deal of concern and forced the Zurich Accords which argued on many points but the one that concerned Gamma the most was “Do Gamma Have the same rights as everyone else?” [center][hider=Powers]I know thats what your thinking, So here goes First let me point out in a world where Gamma take jobs with the local police killing the bad guys not a way to be in their good graces. So I mentioned in the hook that lifting was an issue and it is, Can’t lift ten tons while standing on a common house floor unless you wanted to check out the basement; it’s all about spreading out the support so unless you want to wear clown shoes or something like them expect to sink into earth, sand and the like if you go over 2 tons overhead. Most streets will either deform (Tar based) or crack (Concrete based) if you try 5 tons overhead; some muscle jock tried to get laws passed to make stronger streets so he could juggle cars but it didn’t pass. Hey how about running really fast, let me count the ways. Urban environments and their tight corners suck at over 200 mph and it isn’t all about turning but surprise; the streets and sidewalks ain't empty. Ever have to explain to a parent why little Timmy’s bruise looks like your knee put him in a coma? I think I heard of some guy who was running about 500+ mph out at the salt flats; he fell twice and it was only his reflexes that kept him from getting a broken arm or leg as he tumbled maybe 600 yards before he got his feet back under him. Oh and if you’re gonna run or fly faster than 50 mph you need a face and mouth guard at least unless you like to eat bugs and your eyes bulletproof. How do I get around these things? Support powers, these are things like say a streamlining force field for a runner or flyer...oh and both might want to get the support Maneuverability both allowing top speeds but limiting powers outside of flight.
