Firstly, her programmed backstory consisted of her being the daughter of a powerful paladin and mage couple, who were both tragically killed by slipping on banana peels before she was raised by the son of a dragon in swordplay and magic. She was then sent out to aid others and found herself working for Ardent Heralds. Basically, she was an April Fools joke and parting gift all in one from her creator to his guild, Ardent Heralds. She was also programmed to give each member a different title, ranging from Master to senpai to onii-chan. Her personality was rather interesting, however. Normally, she's extremely bubbly and outgoing. A chatterbox that can and will talk till the cows came home, it came as naturally to her as breathing. And she would talk about the strangest things, often jumping from one tangent to another. One moment, she'll be talking about how pretty the stars look (in the middle of the day), to what they should have for dinner and then suddenly how much fun it is to wrestle with bears. She's also rather clumsy and ditzy, often found daydreaming and breaking the valuable vases of the guild. She has no tact nor sense of sensibility and very much lacks in the sensitivity department. While in combat, however, this rude chatterbox becomes dead silent, with a possessed and haunted look about her. An atmosphere colder than the Antarctic surrounding her, as her dull, lifeless eyes show about as much mercy as they are silvery blue. With the intent to slaughter her opponents as ruthlessly and efficiently as possible, she looks to crush her opponents and grind them into dust with absolute deafening silence. Items:[list] [*] Cleaver (Divine): A weapon specially crafted for Syleste by her creator, it has the steal's MP upon each strike and has a bleeding effect that can stack up to five times on a victim (doesn't affect armoured foes) [*] Holy Literature (Relic): A rare item from an event. It increases the power of Holy based attacks, and raises resistance against Holy [*] Cloak of Magical Shielding (Relic): It increases the user's resistances to all types of magic which target the wearer [*] Boots of Greater Haste (Relic): Increases the wearers speed [*] Enchanted Leather Gloves (Top-Class): Increases the user's strength and defence [*] Holy Apprentice (Legendary): Another item crafted by her creator, it's the outfit she wears. It increases the user's Holy damage and Faith-based skills with increased resistance against Divine or Faith-based spells and abilities. [*] Holy Charms (Relic): She has a total of 3, each one boosting her damage and abilities. Each one can also nullify one debuff or effect aimed at Syleste a day. Said to help ward evil spirits. [/list] Abilities/skills: [list] [*] Holy Shield (Active): A shield of light meant for blocking or deflecting attacks [*] Astral Blade(s)(Active): A series of magical swords are manifested in the air around the user, up to 7 can be made, which are effectively 'hurled' towards the opponent for arcane damage. Bonus damage against armour foes, but decreased against magical based enemies. They can also be used to block or deflect an attack [*] Healing Hands (Active): Another stock standard Paladin skill, can heal themselves or an ally for 10% of their max health [*] Cure Wounds (Active): A standard healing spell that restores 10% of the target's health (5% if cast on oneslf). Can be used as damage against undead. [*] Middle Cure Wounds (Active): A stronger version of Cure Wounds. This can health 25% of a target's health (15% if cast on oneself) [*] Holy Blade (Active): The users blade is coated in a layer of divine magic, enhancing the wielders stats and it's damage output along with durability of the weapon. [*] God's Blessing (Passive): Increases the user's abilities while in combat [*] Elemental Sword Enchantment (Active): The user can enchant their sword with one of the following elements to increase their damage output; Light (Holy damage+, chance to remove a buff), Fire (Fire damage+, burn affect added), Lightning (Lightning damage+, chance to stun), Poison (Poison damage+, chance to poison opponent), Ice (Cold damage+, chance to slow opponent for five seconds), Arcane (Magic damage+, chance to ignore armor) and Darkness (Dark damage+, chance to fear or blind an opponent). Can stack [*] Divine Judgement (Delayed): Syleste's 'ultimate' attack. The user must channel divine power for a total of ten seconds uninterrupted, the caster also being unable to move during this period. Once the time limit has been reached, a massive light engulfs the area and deals massive holy damage to anyone deemed an opponent in it's radius. [*] Gods Mercy (Delayed): While Divine Judgement is Syleste's ultimate attack, Gods Mercy is her trump card. This can only be activated once per day and only activated once the users health bar reaches 0. Syleste is auto-revived with slight buffs to all stats, though she is revived at only 25% health. [*] Divine Blade (Active): Creates a blade of holy light that deals piercing damage on a singular opponent [*] Justice has Been Upheld (Delayed)(Passive): This ability is both passive and delayed in that it is always active, just that it is never in effect until Syleste has beaten an opponent with negative karma. Her health and MP are restored by a small amount in relation to the negative karma of her defeated foe. I.e. The more evil they are, thus more negative karma, the more she heals back. [*] Divine Blessing (Active): A spell that buffs the targets stats. Can be cast on oneself [*] Blessings of God (Passive): Increased luck and strength [*] Divine Intervention (Delayed)(Active): An ability that can be used when a member of their party has reached critical health. Can be cast on said member and while in effect prevents their health from dropping beneath 1% for 120 seconds or until their next attack. Whichever happens first. [*] Holy Strike (Active): A basic technique used by paladins. It causes channeled divine power to explode upon contact with an enemy and is effective to ones with evil alignment.
