Molly inwardly wished that new people wouldn't keep showing up. Just a tiny gap. That's all she asked for. Just a tiny gap to let her actually have a conversation, or leave, instead of being trapped in and endless cycle of handshakes and new names. It was just like when the not-yet-Runaways used to be forced to hangout during what she later discovered were ritual sacrifices carried out by The Pride. She quickly abandoned this train of thought because thinking about her parents, and about Alex, would make her melancholy. That wouldn't be a great first impression.
