She did not say anything though, just listened as he spoke.  Emperium  class?  What in the name of Satan did that mean?  Entertainment?  What the actual god given fuck?  How would she be entertaining?  She was just some pumpkin spice-loving, Ugg-wearing, almost white girl from the south.  What could she do that they would find entertaining?

Suddenly a sort of television screen thing appeared.  She moved closer to Solin so she could look into it properly.  Suddenly it was like science class.  Plants and moons and shit moved across the screen and she had no comprehension.  Her studies had always been of the earth itself.  She had barely taken any sort of time to consider things beyond her beloved planet.  Finally, in detailed focus, a single planet came to view.  She was sure it had some sort of meaning but what she didn't know.  Then there were beings in cages.  Beings sent to be fought against one another.  It was the worst of human history - some things that still happened - staring back at her from the screen.
