Oh dang XD I should be on a little of tomorrow but I’m not sure when since we’re celebrating my friend’s bday but the time hasn’t been set yet lol I think you’re thinking of the baroness character I mentioned since the lieutenant is actually going to be Penelope cx I actually want to keep them separate people mainly because I’m really into the baroness character I created and I kinda see her becoming a sorta mother figure/mentor (I’ve changed her character up a bit cx) However, I do really like the idea of the eldest daughter becoming friends with Penelope! Maybe she’s another lieutenant under the baroness alongside Penelope? Also since we’re on the subject, I want to run by a few character plans with you xD I’ve been working on them a bit now and here’s how I picture the layout of the battalion. There’s three (maybe four?) barons/lords that have gathered their troops together to prepare for a full attack on Younis. They each have 1-3 lieutenants who are in charge of watching over various things (cavalry, scouts, archers, foot soldiers, ect.) and reporting back to their perspective baron. Plus maybe helping out with plans and training. Then you have captains of the certain ranks and then everyone else. She has a large sense of humor and a strange set of morals. She’s very good at planning and strategizing but does have an impulsive streak. If her heart and head are at odds, she’s more likely to ditch both and do what her gut tells her. She’s also not very concerned about the inner conflicts of her kingdom and isn’t one to waste time with chasing after criminals. Instead, Mia likes to focus on outside threats, even deeming that they’re the thing that brings people closer than anything else. She has a sister named Nina who’s married to Bennet, another baron. With no sons of his own and his wife no longer able to bear children, he’s grown to favor Layth. He believes the future of the Vermillion’s will be safe in the hands of his nephew. [/center] [/hider] Some of them are more background characters than actual side characters but I thought they might be interesting to throw in cx I’m also thinking of throwing in Penelope’s cousin, Lucy, though not as an official knight or anything. She’s the daughter of Edward Vermillion and has had a very sheltered life. It’s made her rather troublesome as she does various things to both piss off her father and gain a sense of independence that her life is often lacking. Lucy holds a deep rooted jealousy of Penelope’s life that has manifested into more of a hatred for her cousin over the years. In her eyes, Penelope has so much freedom that she doesn’t deserve. She was glad to hear John was forcing Penelope into a courtship and often taunted the female knight about her becoming a housewife. Despite her hatred, Lucy actually spent a lot of time learning how to fight from Penelope. Though not directly, she would often spy on the female knight when she trained and managed to pick up a few tricks along the way. Right before the war begun, Lucy’s father announced that she would begin courting a man. Lucy, not liking losing the last bit of her freedom, stowed away in one of the supply carts and snuck off to the battlefront, determined to escape and prove herself to be a useful knight.
