Hahah! This is so cheesy that he should star in an MLP episode and yet, something I totally expect him to say somehow.

Friends made, foes gained. This is the very spirit of the arena in both your posts. I'm going to use all that for plot.


I really like how Gwyneira is quite shocked at her first viewing of an arena tournament too, learning about her own magical abilities abd their limits - showing exactly why wizards need to go through a journeymanship. Excellent!
