Penelope blinked as he suddenly kissed her. She closed her eyes as she kissed him back, her heart fluttering joyfully at his reaction to her words. As he pulled back, she smiled fondly at him. The knight savored his words, feeling glad that her worries were far from reality. Feeling another wave of affection, she placed her free hand on his cheek and looked at him lovingly. “Luckily for you that shouldn’t be a difficult job since being with you makes me happy. So much so that the thought of my old life feels lonely. I didn’t think that single person could have such an effect on me.” She leaned into him slightly, meeting his gaze. “And I promise I'll love you until my heart stops.” She met his lips in another kiss, driven by the passion she felt from the decision she had made. Deepening the kiss, she lost herself in his touch for a moment. Her hand slowly trailed down from his cheek to rest on his neck as she pressed closer to him. She finally pulled back to catch her breath, leaning her head against his.
