There are a couple ways I can think of to make it interesting. (coming from what you said to me on discord)
Bill is apparently floating toward Price. My guess is to mess with him somehow. 
Jonathon doesn't have enough meat at the Volcano, turns werecroc and finds his way to the city.
Jason is minding his own business with trying to figure out this new world he found himself in.

I'm not sure about the other characters though.

But yeah. I know you usually like to start with more than 2
