Rika responded with her own "good to see you"s as Hikaru greeted her. It took until after she had already turned her sheet in that she looked at Hikaru's sheet and noticed that she had written down anime in her cute little handwriting. How could she have forgotten about something so obvious! She rushed back to the front, hurriedly filtering through all of the returned papers until she found hers. She scratched out rock and scribbled in anime instead. Satisfied with her new answer, she made her way back to her seat, plopping down in it as if that effort took a lot of energy out of her. Then Tohru's random comment about slapping her sounded lighting into her ears. A large shiver started from her hips, running all the way up her spine into her head, almost making her hair stand on end. What?! Why would this scary rocker girl all of a sudden want to hit her?! Why her?! She sat in silence, unsure how to respond to this. She didn't even turn around, simply appearing like a lifeless puppet slumped over in her seat as the pretty violin music played in the background as if she had been killed and was passing on to heaven. She never did work up the courage to ask Tohru if she had heard right, because by the time she turned around she was already leaving with Miru. She shivered one last time before turning back to Hikaru, clapping as the song ended. "Oh, uh, I think you look adorable as Haruhi," Rika responded to her questioned. "Long hair looks really good too." As she talked to Hikaru, some of the life was able to return to her body.
