The only true being that knows Rosa - is Beasely. The laid back 8 year old Siamese cat that she's had since he was but a small kitten. When she is away from everyone, Rosa indulges into a nice Malbec bottle, and some classic Bosa Nova tunes. Dancing around her apartment to ease the tension of her terrible days at work. She seems to be a bit more chipper alone than around others. Enjoying the bit of freedom she gets from behind the hospital walls. Though get drunk around her and you will see this fun side of her, it's usually packed away tightly in her hall closet with any of her other skeletons she hides. [/indent]

Though of course like anyone, she is more open to those that are closest to her - Rosa is still a bit closed off. She had no traumatic life incident that caused her to be a bit more reserved than others, just how she's always been. When it comes to elders and superiors Rosa is the most polite person, making sure to use every ounce of respect she can give. Many might call this 'brown nosing' in the right situation. Though she doesn't end these pleasantries to her coworkers, you can also find her extending her respect out to them as well. Aside from this, Rosa pushes herself to constantly be on top and be the best - even if it means over stepping a boundary. Failing this internship isn't an option for her. 
When a trauma busts through the hospital doors, Rosa is usually first on the scene. Stressful situations have always been meant with a calm and level head - which is why she felt she would be best in surgery. Nothing exactly caused her to squirm in disgust, everything was met with a brimming and bright interest.
Love has always been fleeting for her, mainly because of her dominating and controlling personality. Wanting to be the one slightly in charge, and making all the decisions. So someone who can keep her in her place would be ideal, but it seems that she finds men who let her walk all over them and its these relationships that don't last long in her life. Aka - she's been in many relationships and labels herself a 'hopeless romantic'. All because she finds herself getting bored with a man that lets himself be ran over by her.  [/indent]

A simple life is all that someone could ask for, and it's exactly what Rosa got. She grew up in the suburbs outside of Philly - went to school, got good grades, grew up with both parents. Rosa had no complaints growing up. Her family was middle-class, so she never experienced any financial hardships. Her parents always ensuring that their children got everything they needed to enjoy their time whilst growing up. Rosa was the middle child of 3. Damien was her older brother at 31, and Jared her younger at 23. Growing up with two brothers is believed to be the reason that Rosa is a bit more forward with her attitude - yours would be too if you had the most annoying brothers in the world.
After all the siblings grew older, each of them started to choose their paths. Damien wanted to become a Lawyer, Rosa a Med Lab Technician, and Jared a Pro Football player. Out of the three, Jared didn't exactly see anything past being a Pro Football player, so the other two just kinda always encouraged him knowing it was a likely dead ended career....especially when you weren't all that good at football. Upon entering her first year of College - Rosa would meet her future fiancé, Jorge. The two would court for about a year, and date few a few years after that. He would pop the question a week before graduation, and a week before she got the news that she was accepted at a hospital out west.
Despite this being the worst hardship she ever had to endure in her life - the arguing of whether she would go or not. It was decided that Jorge would meet her out there eventually. As his schooling and preaccepted internship at a Lawyers Office would find him trapped in Philly for another few years. 
Also, what would ya know - Rosa was accepted at CMH as a part time Phlebotomist/Full Time MLT. She mainly found herself in the Lab testing every kind of Human secretion there is. But her interest changed quickly, shortly after she joined CMH. Watching the surgeons and occasionally being the room during consults as she drew blood - led to the discovery that she wanted to become a Surgeon. So with some strings pulled - at the age of 20 - Rosa went back to school in California and began her schooling. Eventually leaving CMH and returning as an Intern years later. The upside to this is that Rosa knows a few faces, and seems to have a small foot in the door here - but everything is a lot more cut throat when you're coming back at the bottom of the food chain. Edmund still resides in the house that he and his late wife bought together - here he lives a life of solitude. Nothing has exactly changed, except that now the house is filled with the mourning sounds of older country music. He sinks into his depression when he is alone, mumbling along drunkenly to the lyrics of the next side song he decides to play. Though he does try and break out of this routine by working out. It is a weird emotional rollercoaster he rides, but he tries to push through it all anyways.[/indent]

Outside of his sad little den of a house, Edmund is keeps to himself. He doesn't exactly include himself into conversations unless brought in. He is known to everyone as a serious being, it is a rarity to see him laugh outside of a bar. Ed tends to be extremely harsh to those that are on his Service, but in turn - its also because he doesn't want anyone fucking up on his service. He wants every to succeed - and if you can't handle his teaching methods, he'd prefer you just leave.
