[indent]With reddish brown strands of hair and a rough appearance, Tytos Baratheon is a long stride away from the looks of King Joffrey Baratheon. His appearance, no doubt, is due to the influence of the Stark and Tully blood that flows in his veins. Insofar of physical stature, Tytos has been described tall although not overly muscular. Petyr Baelish once compared him to Brynden Tully and Stannis Baratheon in passing, though Tytos isn't sure if it was a compliment or well-placed dismissal.[/indent]

[indent]Tytos Baratheon was a solemn and quiet child, often focusing on his studies and rarely speaking out. His father Joffrey often mocked him at every chance he got and as a young man he wondered if he should become a maester as a way of putting distance between himself and his family. His grandmother's brother, Jaime Lannister, the then Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, often showed himself as a role model and supporting member of the family. It would be Jaime's influence that would lead Tytos to look to the Kingsguard as a different path in life to support the family.
